- Not sure what year this was filmed. I think it was around 2006/7 ?? The quality is crap as I ripped it from DVD. The DVD is better quality. This was recorded by someone at Bramley Band Club in Leeds, and I obtained a copy of the disc. This band were brilliant!! This was the first and last time I ever saw them.
The Gutter Band! Many years ago they regularly played in Lisburn NAAFI for the poor squaddies posted to Northern Ireland during "The Troubles". They were THE most fantastic live group I have ever seen! Nearly 40 years later I would still travel across the country to see them again! "Do you wanna be in my pants..." Brilliant!
Used to love watching these guys back in the day!
They performed at The Star in the early1990s when Barry Eastwood was the licensee, and Jimmy Wallace unofficially ran the door. Jimmy was a good man, and he had friends who would stand behind him for free, including me. I worked on an 'if needed' basis which suited me. I didn't need money, but I've always loved a good tear up. The Gutterband also had slots at Joker's Club in Waterloo Road, run by a scruffy little fucker who employed Steve Hill's 'Northern Security' company, who's fees no doubt led to making that club financially unviable. Such is life.
I still watch this video now and then to remind me of the good night's out watching these lads. Nothing to touch them these days.
We used to love the Gutter Band coming to the mighty Goose Green Labour Club. If you weren't there for seven you couldn't get a seat! Best band around at the time.
Saw them loads of times at birdwell club barnsley ! Best nights ive had in there !
Excellent band !👍
Fantastic band would to see the internationals again if anyone remember them
Remember Internationals...There's a Moose Loose...!!
I preferred the Internationals to the gutter band. I thought it was one of the most entertaining bands I ever saw on clubland.
Almost forgot ...... many thanks to the uploader for taking the time. About the best example to watch. 👍😉

Miss this band 😔
Yes, they were pretty impressive as a live show. Saw them 4/5 times. I think the Gary Glitter controversy finished it for them though. A real shame!
Hebburn labour club?
Great front man....must be using 'tapes' though lol..they sound like a ten piece with orchestra backing lol
Fuck me, its Phoenix Nights lol
Are they a british glam rock band or comedians too,?
They were a comedy vocal group from Yorkshire. Sadly they split up years ago.
Loved this band. It's a pity they had to stop because Gary Glitter fecked it up for them.
Great band! Saw them several times in London. I want to know the title of the tune staring from around 7:30.
It's 'You ain't seen nothing yet' by the great Bachman Turner Overdrive.
@@johnslattery5020 Dear John, I do thank you! I heard this cover on their stage and the original over the radio at that time, but couldn't catch the title. So happy to share the Gutter Band with you. Toshio
