Uncharted 4: I have no words to describe except amazing, unbelievable and best looking game I've ever seen

It's to linear and easy. Way to much climbing and most stuff you do doesn't really require any skills. Shooting mechanic is awful. Great story, graphics and voice acting though. So, more of the same really... 7/10
+Gordon how is being linear a bad thing? Portal's a pretty linear game and it's still amazing
+Ben Wasserman linear is fine, scripted is a little lame once you realize how they trick into thinking your playing something awesome when it's just a movie basically. The scripted scenes get so much flak in call of duty and that's exactly what uncharted needs to be compared with, not portal where no buildings collapse in Michael Bay fashion or explosions as big as Michael bays movies. Uncharted is all about the graphics. Not gameplay, that's why it should never be regarded the perfect 'game'.

After watching this I just realized that Uncharted 4 doesn't have any supernatural things that happen like in the first 3...
I was glad about that. I love the entire Uncharted series, but the supernatural stuff didn't really fit into the games in my opinion. It always seemed weirdly tacked on.

+seby theboss Uncharted 2 at the last chapters had explosive Phazon which turned the bad guys into Nolan's version of Bane and some of the new enemies were monsters. I'm not complaining. I know the myth behind Shambala (I used for interrogation in history class) and for me every Uncharted game is awesome. But then, yes, Uncharted 2 had supernatural elements
+seby theboss oh, and Phazon comes from the Metroid Prime if you never knew. It's basicly a dangerous blue chemical that can either be a powerful weapon or a corrupting infection (basicly the plot of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption)

90% of these clips were from Uncharted 3. Not surprising, that was the best one.

2682shark Haven't played 4, but imo 3 was the best. It wasn't as exciting or long as 2 but the story flowed better and the characters had better development. Of course, it benefited from us already knowing many of the characters from previous games. But 3 is the first time Uncharted felt like more than just a generic action title.
Sully being Skeezy Burt Reynolds is pretty funny, but I was leaning more towards promiscuous Tom Seleck XD

Am I the only one that though 3 was the best one?... Apart from 4
Probably. It was a good looking game, with some good gameplay, and there were some fun parts to it but there were some weird plot holes, the villains kind of sucked (had a chance to make them cooler but didn't) and there was a lame boss fight at the end. I still enjoyed the game, just not as good as the first 2 or the 4th overall.

I guess the rest is pretty much correct, but Uncharted is still one of the the best (If not the best) video game series of all time, and I'd say the majority of players would agree with me on that ;)
Nathan Drake They were not even virtually saying "fuck this game". I don't really care about the majority and they are often enough wrong. I can completely understand why people love this game, it looks impressive tells a nice story, great direction etc. but down to the bone it is completely simplified gameplay, more or less comparable to God of War. And honestly, i don't get why people are demonizing Call of Duty and simplification of video games and on the other hand are completely hyping Uncharted.
tubandt84 Well... maybe because they aren't releasing like 4 Uncharted games each year to take our money? If you release any game with only slightly improved gameplay mechanics for 4 times a year (Actually, even annually), people will start to fucking get bored and fucking hate it.

I actually found Crash Bandicoot quite enjoyable. Games such as Crash Bandicoot practically made Naughty Dog and helped it to stand out. I am also confident that such games as Spyro and Jak and Daxter will stand the test of time. I actually would prefer to replay them over some of the newer games being made recently.
Those game you mentioned are really enjoyable Old school video games to seat an play having tons of fun im old school gamer and i agree with you old games are more fun to play than the new one's

I fucking LOVE Uncharted. It hits me in all of my sweet spots. Adventure, historical "indiana jones"esque storyline, puzzles, awesome interactive cinematic sequences, and sweet one-liners.
The first one was decent, but the second and third ones were amazing.
I wish to god that Uncharted 4 shall be the best of the series.

Uncharted 3 was my favorite of the trilogy. It was the first game to truly give us a look at Nate and Sully's past and it felt really personal IMO
I kind of think Uncharted 3 is the best to be honest.

+TheCardboardClaymore Damn truth, this game had the best plot, best variety, best locations, puzzles and combat (Last of Us awesome fist fighting came straight from this game) also most of my favorite scenes are from U3 (nothing i ever saw beats the scenes on the ship, airplane and in the desert).To be honest, the only things i remember from Uncharted 1 and 2 are billions of faceless pirats and serbian mercenaries, the boring green goo of jungle and kinda cool level on the long train.

+Just Fred They never owned it. It was published by Universal Studios, but, after it went through some companies, the intelectual property belongs to Activision Blizzard. They could pull something like Mighty No. 9 (sequel in terms of gameplay but with different names, because of legal issues) or do something new in a style more similar to Spyro and Crash (both owned by Activision Blizzard), but they seem to prefer to make something more 'mature' and 'cinematic'. I really. don't like this direction, but it's not like I could change anything.

0:45 I got a PS3 when I was about 9-10 and I've heard of those games but I had no clue what they were about. Years later when I got a ps4,I heard of the collection and I was like "Uncharted 4 looks pretty good but I haven't played the other games. I got it! I'll buy the collection to keep track. Now that I've played all the games,I'm an instant fan of the games

He never actually personally gets the treasure; He can't open the Ark of the Covenant, He gives the Shankara stone back to that village, and Elsa takes the Grail past the seal where it falls into a cavern and she loses it. Drake's inability to actually get his hands on the stuff is just ND acknowledging their main muse.

One thing that also bothers me that the tone in these game never is consistent... Drake is a wisecracking young adventure always in a good mood and curious, basically an american version Of tin-tin, yet he also escapes burning buildings , helicopters and gunns down atleast 100 mercenarys a mission... Does that affect him like at all? No he treats firefights like obastacles and shruggs Of the dust and says basically "o.. That was a close one, right gang... It just does not make sense for this type Of characters to deal with situation these situations like this, If he was Joel from the last Of us for example it would be more believable because he is a damaged person and years Of Killing have made him more Of a cold person... But drake just seems so out Of place sometimes, or is it just me that think this?

When people speak Uncharted they usually say 2 is the best, and 3 was not as good.
Sotos Shizas I loved both games, and the multiplayer in U3 is very entertaining, but I think people don't like U3 for some reason.
Carlos Mazzarri I think it is because it is only slightly better than 2 and 2 was so incredibly way better than 1. So people thought they would reinvent the wheel, and they only kept it spinning.
