My father was an attorney. He spent many, many hours helping the poor & struggling clients. He wanted to become a judge, which never happened. He grew up quite poor, in New York City, the child of a widow in the Depression. Judge Caprio reminds me of my Dad. 👍🏻😂❤️👏🏻

Homelessness in our country is up so high rent is so high sometimes we get stuck in the world we can't afford to live some of us can't wrap our head around then I have a place to live and I'm happy the lady at least got a break on the tickets and I'm happy she got a break to go to work
Hey! I want to understand few things about American culture. Many of them are homeless but I usually see in documentaries that they have a car to drive and enjoy other luxuries such as iPhone. How does that work?

Given the low overnight rates from quantitative easing, real estate has been used to preserve wealth and as an investment vehicle to park funds. As such, housing prices have kept growing since 2008 and rent needs to keep up with monthly mortgage payments.
Because they did have money and went homeless late in life. It’s horrible. 2 more years of this and you’ll be feeling it too my friend. This is a global recession

Hold up. Homelessness is skyrocketing out of control in the most liberal cities in the country. You don’t see the correlation? Homelessness is a political issues. Those same politicians want you to be homeless so they can continue to promise to help you to preserve votes. Wake up. Also get the hell out of Commiefornia.

I absolutely believe our paths cross with others for a reason. The generosity and compassion this man has is beautiful. He may have just completely changed the woman’s life. Life is hard, but I send prayers to all involved, may God bless them with more light in their lives.

I personally see here people doing good deeds because they want to help others. Humanitism at it’s best. And seeing all that pastors getting caught as child molesters (and no God intervining that they do it in his name) I think i stay with the reality of life instead of praying to one of the thousands placebo gods to feel better...

probably no one would ever think Judge Caprio's court room would become a career counseling center. Judge Caprio's compassion and understanding is what people at their lowest need; opportunity to change their path in the right direction. Judge Caprio uses the privilege granted to him to better the lives of every person who steps into his court room. 👍👍👍

This is the way a court should be involved in the community. A court should be there to rule and covet, being a human first. Second, it should not be a place of fear or intimidation. Third, a court should be accepting, understanding and yet still hold the will of the people but for greater compassion and rule fairly to serve the purpose of the will of the people and the laws. I am so warmed by the way this happened for Ms. Daley. Professor Horowitz you do great work, thank you sir. And James your a true heart and your selflessness is telling. Give Ms. Daley a lift sir, the world is for her to achieve!

This is why I'm here, not this (waving papers). Been there and been on both ends. Being able to return those blessings feels better than receiving them though it doesn't feel like it at the moment of need.
Wow it just proves that the power of people can overcome any boundaries and it was really nice of the professor and the other gentleman to offer the lady a job which in my opinion is a job of a lifetime for her. It may change her circumstances and help her to find a home of her own. Poor lady how does it come to a point where someone becomes homeless. It is why I donate to the Filamina fund to help the good people of Providence. God bless all of these kind men in one room.
You are part of that human(e) stew of goodness because you donate to the judge's Philamina fund . Also don't forget, Philomena was the judge's mother so the goodness stretches way back and way forward. I'm listening all the way from Florida and these videos make me realize and remember that goodness and kindness can and do flourish. It sounds trite but everyone in the United States today can be part of the problem or part of the solution.
