I can’t tell my mom anything. I’m scared of her. She’s very intimidating. She’ll either get mad or get worried but either way she’s gonna over react.

I'm so sorry you have to go through that. I don't know your age, but please find someone you can spill your heart out ❤️ whether that's a friend, uncle/aunt, sibling, therapist, anything. I am blessed to have a relationship with my mom where i can tell her everything (she might not agree with me, but she respects me to have my own opinion on things). And it helps so much to learn more about myself, what i believe in, and to just cry my heart out sometimes. I hope you're doing okay ❤️

hello, guys, i was sleeeping in another room and guess wht happened when i wokeupppmy parents freaking went thru MY ROOM and REAGGARANGED EVERYTHING AND THREW AWAY stuff without tellling me cuz i was sleeping idk wht to do anymore they literally destroyed my WHOLE ROOMi wanna runaway now tbh no privacy anymore...
they threw away my clothes i fucking hate them idk wht to do ...
they did a deep cleaning and threw away stuff i cant even rememberrr wht was where anymoree ughh
i m so irritated rn
but we r supposed to move in AUGUST but these dumbasses r already after my room ugh
my mom even STOLE some of my fucking clothes wtfffffffstuff i got as gifts :/
the locks of my doors are broken by them,they even took away the AC remote from my room annd being a pakistani female makes it whole lot worse i feel sucidal might throw myself off the terrace someday ngl ....

My mom is a formidable character. An Irish Catholic self described pit bull with lipstick. She might only be a little over 5 feet tall but she can intimidate grown men twice her size. On the other hand she’s also an extremely kind, dutiful, spirited, generous woman. She’s bore a great deal in life without complaint (for example, both her parents were dead by the time she was 19, and she made it on her own in the world through her young womanhood/young adult life with no help from anyone). While my mom can be intimidating, I know that she loves me very much and only wants the best for me. I love and respect her very much.

haha i grew up catholic and she sounds like the prototype of catholic mothers. i think it has something to do with the veneration of mary and motherhood in general, catholic moms are so sweet yet so so strong.

Having a new nephew made me realize what being a mother must be like. I have never loved a baby so much and I will forever be protecting him and not so much “worrying” but I’m just always hoping he is okay and making sure he is 🥰

Exactly. Im older now so I don’t have to worry about being grounded since I’m out of the house but I still feel nervous to tell my parents about anything serious or my romantic relationships going on in my life.
For some yes, for others they’re actually scared. The consequences can be more than disapproval.
In life you need to be careful. It doesn’t mean wrong things should happen to you or that the person doing the crime isn’t wrong. But people need to be aware of the ugly things people are willing to do and always be careful and thoughtful of what they are doing or where they are going etc

I am scared of my stepfather. He isn't a bad man, but we never get along. Especially when he's mad. Same goes for my stepmother. Both of my biological parents are so weak when it comes to their partners. They would let them do anything. It's so damn exhausting.

@@glenaldothompson717 The problem is that at the darkest point in my life that's what I wished that I wasn't here.(you don't understand abuse until you live it so don't judge) I don't hate her anymore that only poisoned me. I would say am more neutral now, I don't give her that much of my power anymore. I grew compassion for myself. When I hated her I still wanted something from her. Now, the only validation and love I want is for myself. I kind of let both of my parents go psychologically, so that I can grow up and not end up like them both miserable. I decided I want to be happy because I suffered enough in this world.
