Does Your Porsche Ride Like This? Ep3

Having just fitted new Michelin PS4S N0 tyres on my Porsche Cayman 981 GT4, now was the perfect time to get a four wheel alignment done. No point ruining a new set of tyres with uneven wear due to poor geometry.
Who better to do the wheel alignment than the good folks at ‪@centergravitychassistuning‬. Having done such a good job on my Porsche Cayman 987.2 I gave them the job of working on my Porsche Cayman 981 GT4.
I thought there was nothing wrong with the existing setup… boy was I in for a surprise. Watch part 3 of this video series for further details.

I took my 981 GTS there 2 weeks ago, so not long after you. New coffin arms fitted and fast road Geo adjustments. Interestingly, on the test drive after I felt exactly as Pete said at the end. I'd seen the data and trusted chris' judgement and professionalism so whilst I thought I could feel the improvement it was more placebo effect for me.
However. Once on my own and driving a known B road near home, holy cow!!! Huge difference to what it was like before. So much more confidence in the handling. I really noticed it so Pete is bang on with that statement.
Credit to Pete and Chris. They really do know their stuff. My 987.1 Boxster S is going there next.

Great videos Max. I can’t check the top mounts in my Cayman as it’s been stored but I did have a look at the Macan GTS. It has fixed top mounts and seems like you can’t change camber. It does have a solid feel and tracks straight through the steering in the straight ahead position.
