Interesting seeing the 3 colors. Love the back story. Thanks for sharing these classic builds David!!!!
Thanks Mike, alternate colors if GL was not orange 🙂
Wow! Those are nice David! I really like how that green one turned out! 👍😎👍
Thanks Jeff, everyone is favoring the green one🙂
Super cool collection of General Lee’s David awesome!
Thanks Craig, I hope everyone gets to build at least one.😊
Interesting take on the General Lee's. It is nice to look back to see the beginning. You have made a lot of progress. Perfect Song from the man in Black Johnny Cash🖤🐭👍
Thanks, "the man in black" is awesome 👌. I built the first General Lee in the late 70's early 80's when the first editions came out. 🙂
cool general lee's,great detail work and paint jobs
Thanks 👍Duke, love the General Lee.
very cool models, love the colours, always loved the dukes of hazard 😀😀👍👍
I used to watch it every Friday night. I've been to Cooter's in Nashville TN that has a General Lee in front.😊
Always cool to look back at some early builds, cool idea on the different color builds..
Thanks Kreg, it was fun to see how it would have looked in different colors😊
Thanks for sharing David 👍 interesting seeing the Chargers in green and yellow, that’s outside the box thinking right there!
Thanks Mike, with multiples I didn't want to build them all in orange.
all nice sweet cars daivd keep them coming
Thanks Gilly, they were fun variations of the General Lee.😊
I really love the green one David and they are all very cool ❤
Thanks Shawn, green seems to be the favorite alternate color.
Nice collection of General Lees, cool cars!
Thanks Jeff, they were fun to build!
Awesome collection of General Lee's
Thanks Tom, love the 69 Chargers🙂
FANTASTIC collection David! I enjoy your videos!
Thanks Mark, do you have any General Lee die casts?
@@davidchin350 I do not have any General Lee's. I need to buy one!
That turned out great there David! Yeah excellent assortment of the Lee! Cheers
Thanks John, my what if General Lee was a different color.😊
Nice collection of Generals with a new take on a couple of them David. Very cool. You have me thinking about doing my General Lee build idea that I have. Need to get some others on the bench done first though.👍🤠👍
Look forward to your "twist" on the General Lee 😀
Nice look back on the old builds. Neat idea to try different colors.
Agreed Kurt, like capsules in time ⏳️
Great selection of GL David👍👍
Thanks Seamus, I used to love watching that show.
Really nice variations on the General Lee David.
Thanks Mike, glad you like them.😊
Very cool. I like the early build with those tires, im a fan of those tires.
Appreciate the response and showing us your first. Your buddy, mars😂
Thanks 👍Pat, sorry about my memory loss as I was taping this. I corrected the title and description but not the audio.☹️
@@davidchin350 all good Mr. I was just teasing ya. 👍
Nice response to Mars. Cool idea, they all look good to me!
Thanks, I actually misquoted, it was Pat at Cardz Scale Dreams who posed the challenge.😊
Oops! We all do it, no worries. @@davidchin350
Very cool David! Awesome to see them in different colors like that!
Thanks Kyle, a what if scenario on the colors.🙂
@@davidchin350 I like it!! A good and fun idea
Great collection of a cool car, tracking the progress of your skills. Great video. ( My stepmom had a ‘69 charger. Some of my early memories.)
Love that 69 "Coke bottle" body style.👍
@@davidchin350 IMHO, absolutely the best muscle car design ever.
That's a pretty cool bit of your building back story, brother, and some good memories, enjoyed the video 😊✌️
Thanks Stephen. Memories is all I got.🙂
@@davidchin350 idk about you, but those (memories) fade fast here 🤦🤣
Oh wow, cool builds David!!
Thanks Tim, that Charger 500 first release was built in the late 70's/early 80's.
@@davidchin350 Cool
I like the alternate colors on the general...and I liked that you showed the early version which they used the 69 charger 500 version that was a seprate model sold to the public it had a flush front grille "I think incuded in the model kit"... along with the window plug in the rear and was raced that way too... And eventually becoming a daytona charger. The wheels look great on your first general, I love slots I have a set on my real 74 charger... The turbines are cool too they even used a version of them on ramchargers and pickups up to 1993 or so.
Thanks John, yeah I like the original release even with inaccuracies.😊
All very cool David 👍
Thanks Paul, all fun builds.😊
Great video David I do want to do a General one of these days as a young person I had build one build now I'm building my skill before I try one again thanks for sharing. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist
Thanks Thomas, yes definitely try the build again as a redemption kit.🙂
Great video, David! I love the color variety. If I remember correctly, there was an episode that actually had a green Charger. Don't remember the plot line or how it was used so pretty cool to see that you did a green one.👍👍
Thanks Eric, now that I think about it, I should have done one in medium gray like the CSA uniform.
That’s a cool collection man
Thanks Marcos, glad you like it 😊
Very cool builds
Thanks Horton, a twist on the classic color of an iconic TV car😊
Beautiful Dodge.👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍 Pierre, love the 69 Charger.
Cool general lees
Thanks Doug, love the 69 Chargers.
Lovely General Lee's David 👍
Thanks John, I love 69 Chargers👍
@@davidchin350 I want to build a model of the General Lee one day! I have the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am in my stash!
Hi David cool generals I really like the green one
Thanks Glen, I had to try different colors since I can't picture building 4 same exact cars.😮
Man David now I'm wanting to build another General Lee. Lol
I know a lot of people like building General's out of the revell kits but I've always liked trying to make everything fit right on the MPC kits.
I've got a video of the black - before General charger and another one with the fast back kit like you have.
They are definitely looking good and the color variation between them is pretty cool too. 😁
Thanks, I do like the 69 Chargers but didn't want to build all the same color. This video will make you build a General Lee. BTW I do have two B-17 Flying Fortress I will revisit soon.🙂
Awesome builds !
You can never have enough 69 Chargers😁
That’s a cool look back. I’m so used to seeing that car in orange, not sure if I could get used to it in another color..lol.. I picked up the country charger kit from mpc so I could build my own General lee. I’m going to checkout your first video. I like seeing how skills developed. My first videos since I started the scale models on you tube are horrible so don’t feel bad about your video quality, got to be better than mine..lol😂
Thanks Onix, I hear the Revell Monogram 69 Charger is a better kit but you already have the Country Charger. I feel the same about GL but since I already built it in orange, I had to try it in different colors. Now I wish I had built one in medium gray like their CSA uniform.
Classic talent
Thanks Jose, like looking at my past builds.😊
Great video thanks I built one also I may have to dig it out to compare it with my recent builds
Yes Ruane, it's like archeology.
just a good o boy.
Never meanin no harm...
Thanks for checking out the video Leon.😊
Cool gen lees
Thanks Dave, fun builds since I didn't care about accuracies or perfection back then.
Great !
Thanks😊
Cool cars bro.
Thanks Marcelo. You asked for it, you got it🙂👍
@@davidchin350
Thanks, but I think it was Pat from cards scale dreams who asked the question.
@@marsgarage8217 thanks for the correction, I'll amend the video.
👍🏽👍🏽vers nice
Thanks J speed.😊
Yes I agree. The flag represents the heritage not the racist stuff. Some use it for that purpose and some racist people don't like the flag. .... you have some nice builds and we all know how the mpc kits build up
Thanks, I figure I have to show all these at one time for comparison. 🙂
Great builds David. Did you made any 1/43 scale kits?
Hey Toni, no 1/43 since they are too small for me. I like 1/25 or 1/24 for cars, 1/48 planes and 1/35 for armor.🙂
I like the slotted wheels better
Thanks Brian, I like the 5 slotted as well😊. Many don't like that tire because it's a hard plastic company and not soft rubber.
🤓👍
Thanks for checking out the video👍
HEY-DAR 👊😎👍: after watching this video I was very offended by that flag on the roof.... LOL just pulling your chain, I guess some people aren't happy unless their complaining about something. Those rims from the 66 Malibu flip-nose are awesome. Thanks for sharing, Watch You Later, (MODEL CAR😎MAN CAVE)
Right on, thanks for checking it out. I like those 1/24 scale Monogram wheels and tires too.
@@davidchin350. I forgot to ask, I sub to over 100 model builders and your one of them. Its hard to follow so many so I don't remember if I inquired about receiving a Shop-Card from you if possible? If so, reply to this and I'll send you my address. Thanks, Watch ya later (MODEL CAR😎MAN CAVE)
