Something that not a lot of people know these days was that the Flintstones wasn't really intended to be for children. It was actually a prime-time show aimed towards adults, the very first animated prime-time series on American television and predating The Simpsons by almost thirty years. It was only later on that the show became kinda' retroactively labeled as a kid's show.

Also, it should be noted that just inserting swear words into a show doesn't make it 'adult', its more along the lines of the themes of the show. The Flintstones only got more kiddified when it got popular among younger audiences as well as sellable towards them.
One day when i was 9 i saw a bootleg console at a thrift store and was like mom can you buy me this, she said no.
I then said "It has 10,000 games, you'll never have to buy me a game ever again." Now that i look back i feel the stupidity.

Oh, man. Samurai Pizza Cats was an awesome show. I knew there was something a bit... odd... about it even when I was a kid. And as it turns out, when they brought the show to America, the writing process consisted of ignoring the original storyline entirely and just making up the plot to each episode as they went along. And that, my friends, is what made it so unbelievably amazing.

I'm so happy to have found people who like it, no one I know remembers anything about it, and I've tried my best to raise awareness of the show by trying to get people who commonly review shows to try and review it. No luck so far, but if anything pops up I'll be overjoyed.

If anyone wants to see more bootleg goodness (or badness, depending on how we're judging here), people should definitely check out Phelous' Bootleg Zones series (his website is Phelous.com, appropriately). He mostly deals with bootleg toys on that show, but he does have Bootleg Zones VG for video games (and Miraculous Merchandise Zone for the occasional official product he decides to look at). He's also a comedic reviewer that reviews movies and TV shows, of course. WARNING! His humour isn't necessarily to everyone's taste.

That's not the last boss. There are still 2 more bosses after him. The final boss is actually a main villain from the series. That level select does not include the last 2 stages.

The plot is that Aliens come to conquer earth but will leave the alone if a pervert in Japan can catch the alien leaders daughter in 3 days on foot. Though some mishap the daughter (Lum) thinks the pervert wants to marry her so even after the earth is safe she stays and lives with him, because if he backs out of the wedding, the insult will require something awful to happen to earth.

That NES Flintstones game isn't actually all that bad. The one that's also Grand Dad. Not the best game, the climbing thing is wonky as fuck, but it's not bad. At least, it's fun.
Also, those little bootleg consoles are ridiculous. I had one I got from a flea market that was like, 100,000 in 1. Except it had every variation of each game. So like, it had the original Super Mario Bros. Excep each level was it's own game. So that's 32. Then each one of those were copied for each amount of lives. So, what, 99 lives? So each amount was it's own game. 32 x 99. 3168. And then each one of those had it's own version with a different power up. Small, Big, Fire, and Star. So 3168 x 4. 12672. That's almost 13,000 games that were literally just Super Mario Bros. And the same was done for Pac-Man, Contra, Donkey Kong, Popeye, and various other well known NES games.

Wow, when he showed the Little Pluckies Ninja Protects, the first thing I thought of was Boootleg Zones... and then he showed the demon turtle from the first episode of Bootleg Zones. If you aren't aware of that series, go watch it right now. It's great. (And Phelous's other stuff too, really, but Bootleg Zones is pretty special because it's all about bootleg toys and some of the stuff he finds is just magical.)

Actually the best and most popular tetris engines are NOT luck they are running on script that will always give you the pieces you need. It keeps track of what it gave you and sets the next three so it won't fuck you over. Otherwise pros couldn't consistently win, or get those crazy patterns. Watch grand master tetris.
