I got the same problem but I replaced the clutch master cylinder but it still happens the same but I noticed that the clutch pedal got broken thank you so much new subscriber
Here on Australia we drive on the right hand side our clutch pedal is up against the center console and the top left hand bolt is next to impossible to take out.
I got lucky mine broke where I could weld it back correctly. Great Vid
Great video, thank you so much fixed mine yesterday
Worst part is sqeezing in under the dash. Almost worth it to take the seat out.

Thank you
At the junk yard now to fix mine
I think this is what happened to my 2007, 2.4, just the other day. I felt and heard a pop down by the clutch pedal and then couldn’t get the clutch to disengage. Had it towed to a shop and the guy tried to tell me my clutch was worn out and needed a new one at 1400 bucks for the job. I’m probably gonna have to have my car towed to my house because I don’t want to hurt the synchros trying to drive it without the clutch. Also, could it be the throw out bearing or something else with the clutch? It has no hydraulic leaking, it hasn’t been slipping or anything. The pedal has been squeaky for what seems like years.
Check the clutch bracket, then the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
@@joehowto turns out it was the clutch master cylinder, it was a bitch to replace but I knew that mechanic was full of it and it didn’t need a clutch replacement.
This happened to me yesterday on my 07 accord, i heard a snap and then very difficult to put in gears, had to turn off the car at every light put it in first gear then start the car. It seem like the clutch was still partially engaged because wen you started the car will move forward. I take off on 1st gear and the had to force it into 3rd because would not go into 2nd or 5th gear. I just need to find that clutch bracket
What were your car symptoms? Did you had trouble going into gears?
Yes
Oh man I have the same issue and I thought it was CMC and I ordered it put it in and the problem is still there and it's the pedal 🥲
I'm in the same position. Can you purchase these clutch assemblies new at Honda? Or did you go used?
I noticed you didn’t show putting the bolts back just tightening them up, how difficult were they to place
I tightened them up afterwards as it was not easy to hold the camera and tightened the bolts
@@joehowto I understand but how difficult were they to to put back before tightening
@@hemtet5500 just needed to line them up. It was not that difficult.
@@joehowto 👍
Do u have to adjust the clutch pedal again after doing this?
no need to as long as OEM
No because the whole assembly comes out, just bolt it back up to your cmc
Where did you buy the part? I'm having a hard time finding the entire assembly
Me too ! It's hard to find this assembly from Quebec
@@joehowto is the same part ?

just replaced the pedal assembly the car starts but wont shift into gear any help?
it goes into the gears physicaly but nothing happens when i let off the clutch
@@dankmasterflex did it have problem before the pedal replaced?
Mine just broke today going to the yard in the am
You may have to take it out and weld it if you can't find any
The pin goes in one side?
Yes
how can i find the new one bro?
You may have to buy it from the dealer or have someone weld the broken piece
My car won’t start now after trying this lmao
make sure adjust the sensor(when you press down the pedal)
@@joehowto thank you for the quick response, I subbed. I’ll take a look at it today thank you!
Why did you use the white out?
To mark the distance how much further for the sensor to go back into the new bracket
Is this why your clutch pedal won’t return to the up position??
The clutch won't let me shift into gear
@@joehowto in my case the clutch pedal went all the way to the floor and wouldn’t come up
@@jogmas12 check the clutch cylinder if there is any fluid there
