Man, this is the most entertaining "what if" bug I've seen in a while, very interesting.
It's fascinating that not only you were able to backtrack from the locked in pacifist route to the neutral route without crashing, but you were able to take your party member through a majority of the first few phases in the neutral final boss!

What if you try to attack Zenith Martlet Phase 1 as normally you can't cause armor is blocking the fight button.
Seeming as how you can use fight in phase 2 as well as shooting, Im guessing forcing the fight option in phase 1 and killing her that way would just lead to phase 2
or the game will crush

[UTY] What if you spare Ceroba on geno route (her name is yellow but cannot be spared through normal means)?
either the game will:
a)crash
b)softlock
c)continue the genocide route
d)lock you onto neutral

if it were to not crash/softlock, it would probably continue the geno route, there probably isn't a murder flag for Ceroba since the only intended way to win the fight is to kill her, and it's forced
It has quite the meaning this time around.
Just because a name is yellow doesnt immediately mean they can be spared.
What it does imply is that Justice is within serving distance. One strike, and they're met with the hands of Judgement. Consequence.

No I think it's a bug, every enemy at low hp will have a yellow name, but I'm pretty sure it's just messed up code from normal enemies, and how their names turn yellow when they can be killed in one hit (same as in undertale)

Another suggestion for Undertale Yellow if you haven't yet. It would be cool to see if you could get Martlet and Ceroba to follow you both at the same time. Or you could see if Flowey will react to you if either of them aren't following you in an area they normally would.
