I used to listen to “It’s Raining Somewhere Else” all the time. One of the most calming pieces of music ever composed.

They’re all such good pieces, it’s very hard to decide which is best. Spider dance has some of the most streams on Spotify, and megalovania launched into other parts of internet culture. Most of the boss themes carry so much emotion that someone’s favorite theme likely relates to their favorite character or route in the game.

I fell in love with the thematic placing of the slow calming "Undertale" through a long peaceful hallway full of monsters who appear only to tell you their story. Followed by the tense but also calm moment accompanied by "The Choice" as Sans evaluates you and your choices you've made. Then you are later having your first encounter with the King of Monsters and his "Small Shock" of seeing you have made it this far. To which he responds by allowing you to prepare yourself before your face down with him in the hollow hallway of "Barrier". As the King in the Mountain say his final goodbyes to you he promptly destroys your only way of sparing him his life to begin his final battle as the Hero who intends on releasing his people from their prison that they have been sealed in for so long.
Yeah, the way the soundtrack "holds its breath," as it were, is incredibly artful in my opinion.

Can't believe yall legitimately forgot about Finale. Personal favourite, you can literally HEAR the passion put into the instruments during the second half. Bells to indicate a day of reckoning and end, leitmotifs to remind you of past, tamer experiences with this now demi-god that stands above you in the form of Omega Flowey, taken to an extreme for the sheer purpose of accentuating his power. You can even hear dips and changes in the tunes to make it sound emotional and vast. No other peice like it.

Death by Glamour, Spider Dance, Metal Crusher. These are all quite good choices. Clearly they haven't listed to the "song that might play when you fight Sans". Yes, it sounds like it's straight out of MMX3, but it's underappreciated.
Spider Dance is the best. Through the whole video, I was just WAITING for it to be mentioned, and I was so happy when it was finally mentioned at the end, and deemed the best(Even with 'Bird that Carries You Over a Disproportionately Small Gap' mentioned after)

I’ll be honest, I think that reality check throught the skull (or in the playlist it’s the song that might play when you fight sans) is the best, it combines a bunch of different boss music to create a definitive final battle where it feels like sans is actually representing everyone, there’s bits of what I think is bonetrousle, it has some spider dance, and of course some megalovania, and more

For best atmosphere, I think It's Raining Somewhere Else is the best or one of the Snowdin Themes. For most emotional, it's definitely Undertale or His Theme. For best fight, it's Hope and Dreams/Save The World. For catchiest tune, I nominate of the Temm's themes.

"ASGORE", "Spider Dance", and "Hopes and Dreams" are my 2nd, 4th and 3rd favourite respectively, my 1st being "Dummy!", because of my fondness for retro-swing style music, and though "Undertale" is in my top 10 because of it's innate glimpse into the emotion of the story, I feel it's not as good as "ASGORE" because of how vague said emotion is. Not that any of the soundtrack was below amazing, kudos to the writer!

I’m not surprised that no one mentioned Gasters theme. you can only find the song through a cheating device or digging around in the game files, and getting the mystery man door in waterfall is extremely rare. But I am also surprised at the same time because gaster is well known throughout the undertale community.
