Amazing ... no power..no sewage...no communication...no grid...10 miles dirt road... no powerboat use on lake which is a very small lake.... tiny cabin built in 1945... no garage even... what the he'll is that price for???

I have another question maybe or maybe not a good question , but I really like what I see. Anyway it's been said there is only 2 cabins on this lake, are you saying that there is 1 other parcel of land on the lake with a cabin other than the 2 cabins that you are selling? No gate into the property. It is over some varying quality logging roads.
What kind of fuel powers the generator?

@@lifestyleproperties thanks, how long can it typically run before refueling, and do they have a way for gasoline to be safely stored on the property? I’m trying to get a sense for how they operate the generator and whether or not they need to continually bring fuel every time they drive in.
@@Steve-rc1ug The workshop on the back of the property is used to store fuel and other items. Generator has its own little room off of the workshop. No problem storing a lot of fuel. Generator should run for 12+ hours straight no problem.

It would be difficult to live here year round. About 10 miles of unplowed road in the winter.

No gas boat motors allowed. This is a trout pond with some landlocked salmon also present.

@@lifestyleproperties Yeah I saw that but STILL 475k. For hallways that if 2 people met in 1 needs to turn around. Tiny fridge, doors, stoves because EVERYTHING is small. Replacement of anything needs to be custom. The location is AMAZING. But why build a doorway you need to duck under? Crazy. LOVE the location and I know thats the money.

Sorry those days were decades ago. You can still find waterfront land near $40,000 though. Rural Maine waterfront is still affordable when compared to most other states.
Sad that many people can't afford more than $10k these days. You'd be lucky to find an acre in the middle of no where for that price. The days of affordable "getaways" on a lake is over.
