- In the first of our Marella Discovery 2 Electric Sunsets Cruise Series we give you a tour of our cabin. For this party cruise we chose the cheapest way onto the ship and chose an inside cabin.
We stayed on deck 6 in cabin 6113 so do come and have a look around!
This Electric Sunset cruise was for 3 nights from Palma, Majorca visiting Barcelona and Valencia.

Great video! I haven't stayed in an inside cabin but it looks absolutely fine for a 3 night cruise. As you said, it does the job.
It did do the job for this cruise. But will book balconies when we can!

It was fine for this short trip, but definitely would chose a balcony when budget allows!

❤thank for this we have cruised lots of times with marela on the smaller ships and always had an inside cabin midship as I’m not a good traveler 😅 and mostly have the injection or manage with travel pills opps I digress thank you as this will be our first discovery cruise and have our inside cabin booked and was wondering what it would be like but it is similar to the others we have had but it’s good to know have just discovered your Chanel thanks for sharing take care ❤

Great video, is it worth paying for the premium drinks package?
And do you do the excursions as we will be going on our 1st cruise next year on the discovery 2 and wasn't sure how to get to places like for example when we arrive at pompey.
Is it worth paying for the excursion or better to find your own way around?
Regarding the drinks package depends on what you drink, if you like high end spirits and cocktails it may be worth the extra, we are just putting a post together regarding the Marella drinks package which should be on our website soon. Excursions are worth it if the attraction is a way from the port, otherwise if the ship is docked centrally, exploring yourself is fine. We often use the Hop on Hop off buses.
Did you miss having a balcony Carole? I've noticed that very occasionally you're up and about before Paul ....do you have to go and read in the bathroom 😄

Hi, really enjoyed our marella cruise , I want to do another one next year but it’s saying the ship is the voyager, have you been on the voyager and if you have how can you compare it with the discovery 2. Thanks
The Voyager is the new Marella cruise ship coming out in June. There are itineraries out for all the other ships too so not sure why you are having difficulty finding them?

inside Cabin .Does NOT do it 4 US .and near the Water Line . WE Always Go D9 Midship or as near With Balcony on all there Ship's
We prefer balcony too, though lots do like an inside and saves quite a bit of money too!
Is there a better cruise line for us Brits to enjoy cruising than Marella?? i dont think so.

We couldn't then, this cruise was in May. But just been on Princess and Celebrity and we were able to sit at the bars!
