Gotta say, you do the best podcast for this genre. The research you do is immense. We’re seeing different podcasts talk about same stuff such as the Ian Brady case where it was only an hour long. You have so much info in urs it was six times as long

I’ve seen every single one of your videos on CZcams...Literally no other podcast/crime videos compares to your presentation...I really admire the way you end a lot of your videos...With a deep respect and understanding to the humanity of many victims of heinous crime...

@@helenmangan572 I also like that they don't get really nasty about the murderers. We *know* the killers are terrible people etc etc, but Casefile does a really good job of staying objective and not heaping insults and aggressive language on any one person no matter how bad the person's actions are They just tell the story as accurately as they can which is really refreshing. Another Podcast that does similar on CZcams is called Dark Histories, which focuses on historical crime (sometimes really obscure ones almost no one knows about!!) and also historical paranormal events but he tries to bring some rational discussion to the mass hysteria experienced over those events when they happened. He tells the story in the way Casefile does, like a narration, and his research is always really thorough. Casefile and Dark Histories are the two best podcasts I've found on CZcams so far :)

@@helenmangan572 I hope you enjoy it - his episode on the historical Irish Bridget Cleary case (called Away with the Fairies) is brilliant if you want a recommendation of something to listen to first, a brutal crime carried out by desperate people caught in mass hysteria due to superstition and confusion and fear. Greetings from Aotearoa (New Zealand) ^_^
Edit: If you search Dark Histories Away With the Fairies here on YT you'll find it. It's so good, and almost 2 hours long :)

I totally agree. So many true crime podcasts are unlistenable because the hosts are way too giggly and jokey about really serious crimes. It's uncomfortable to hear people being flippant about such things.

This is hands-down the best telling of this tale I have ever heard, and I have listened to several. The detail you give it is extraordinary and I am learning so many more facts than before. You are hands-down the best podcast out there. I don’t know what I will do while waiting for part two!

I had no idea CASEFILE was here on CZcams. I've been listening for years on Apple Podcasts but find switching devices messes up the playlist or I can't get back to where I was, whatever, my point is here one has more 'control' and the ease of use (Apple praises itself for) is actually ease.of.use. Think I'll switch and catch up from here. CASEFILE writers, researchers, and their audio guy are all just fantastic. Many will imitate but none will capture their sincerity and devotion of caringly handing over just the facts.

I've only just found this at the recommendation of Georgia Marie. I hardly listen to podcasts because I just don't like the platforms and will usually only listen if it's out on CZcams. So I'm glad I've found another awesome one!.
If you haven't tried then, I highly recommend the podcasts by Strange Land and Trace Evidence here on CZcams. They're amazing and I think you'd enjoy them.
I have many CZcams true crime subscriptions and among my favourite smaller channels are True Crime Rocket Science (a guy with background in photojournalism, author of true crime books, blog, guess DEEEEP into cases, eg he's just fine a 50 part series on the JonBenet Ramsey case - it's all good info no fluff or filler and he really gets the listener to think outside the box and to be able to see things others might not, like professional investigators do. Brilliant man and channel.)
