My boi I have the same exact thing, I took off my spring should I leave it on to add more recoil ? Also the nut at the end is it along bearly grabbing any thread? Does the brake handle feel any loose when you try it mine works but it feels really loose.
You should leave the spring on their because it will help the brakes release. You can adjust the lever so that it moves more toward the front of the bike. That should help with the nut problem. It's a bit loose so that when the handle is pulled, it doesn't get stuck.
I just typed in "Coleman CT200U-EX brake cable" into Amazon and bought one. If you need the specific length, I'll get back to you on that but just let me know.
@@outdoormaniac4562 yes But after messn around with it the brakes work fine .This is my 11 year grandsons and what happens when he starts it it seems the idle is to high and bike starts to take off as soon as it starts
Thanks bro super useful I bought a bike with no brakes and this helped me put it all on
No problem! Anytime!
Looks like the same one I got on amazon. I had to grind the piece that slid into the brake handle to make it fit
Thanks for the input. Much appreciated!

How do you shorten the break cable
No, becaus you will cut the connections.
What length of cable did you buy?

Have you take the shoes off before?
@@outdoormaniac4562 no they could maybe be worn?
@troyholland3436 it's possible.
How do i tighten the tension?
I have a video on that. I'll put a link below.
Link: czcams.com/video/FGF4cwoePy8/video.html
What length is your cable?
67-5/8 inches (172 cm)
I have trouble with my brakes my mini has a ruing engine
?
Liked your video but next time call a nut a nut and a bolt a bolt. You’ll have a lot
more credibility.
Thanks for the feedback
Should brake shaft be all the towards back of bike frame ,I dont seem to have much brake for some reason.I adjusted cable but no difference
@Donald Thomad are you talking about the lever that attaches the cable? Like in the thumbnail?
