- This video details the installation of the OMBWarehouse Stage 2 kit which includes intake filter, carb main jet, throttle set screw elimination, exhaust, and valve springs.
OMB warehouse should pay you for this video...very helpful, and necessary as no instructions were included. Thanks for your help!
You're welcome!
This is probably one of the best videos on how to replace the valve springs. Pretty straightforward and detailed. Thank you for taking the time and making this video. Regards,
I was just looking through your video really quick and wanted to comment on your removal of the carb. That little trick with the vice grips on the fuel line was great. I never thought to do that before...I always had a gas can to catch the gas.
Super helpful video, got the stage 2 plus clutch upgrade myself. Didn’t have the springs but had everything else. Haven’t done anything like this before but your video helped guide me right along
what a AWESOME video, everyone already said the same in the comments but I gotta enforce it!!! you made my life so much easier, step by step and covering all small details, great camera placement, thank you a lot for making this video!
best video on youtube on val clarence thanks
Really appreciate how u don’t cut the camera a lot 🤝
you made the valve spring part look easy, gonna re watch it when I do 18lbs springs. Only things I would change are doing the rlv muffler instead and zip tie the second gov spring since the springs are now 18lbs
Very good video, good job dude👍
Very well done thank you!
Really good video. Thanks
Great video. Methodical process. Clear shots of the work being done. It’s obvious you know your way around an engine.
Thanks 👍
Thanks for the help!
Great video
Thanks man
No problem
Does the plastic spacer come off? I had a so called performance carb like yours but it didn’t work on my application so I ended up putting back the stock carb and it works great.
Thank you
Could you possibly link all the parts you used?
Can I do this on a Baja warrior 200 cc
Noticed you have not done the torque converter yet any reasons why not? with the governor delete it acts like a cvt and really wakes these bikes up mine broke so it was logical now the muffler broke so hence looking to do intake exhaust next
Do u have a parts list by any chance?
what happens if the valve fell in
Damn I forgot to order the crankcase breather 🤦♂️, will it hurt to run it without it in the mean time?
Mine only runs off choke. As soon as it’s turned off bike dies. Checked for air leaks and not seeing any. Any recommendations?
What was your max mph?
Gap inches or mm
I'm not sure why they would include valve springs in the kit because nothing is gained on a governed engine. The stock springs can handle much higher than governed RPM. If the governor has been removed or by passed the 18lb springs will allow the engine to run at too high an RPM and wear out the rod quicker ruining a pretty good engine.
So it’s it ok if I do remove the throttle stop and bypass the governor? Just checking
@@tonypolaroid3405 The throttle screw yes. The governor no unless you are sure to upgrade to a billet rod and flywheel prior to running the engine without a governor.
Just today a guy was in a mini bike forum who completely ruined his engine because he bypassed the governor with a zip tie. The magnet came off the flywheel and broke the engine block. He was lucky he didn't get hurt. The stock flywheels are not made for ungoverned engine RPM.
@@tonypolaroid3405 If you have a Coleman 200 one of the best ways for more speed is to install a torque converter. There is some learning and cost but they work well. You should get at least 36 mph and maybe into the low 40's. The kit in the video should also be installed but the 18 lb springs are not needed.
Why is this stage 2 Kit different than the gopowersports kit?. I just purchased the stage 2 from them and it has completely different parts. If I'm not mistaken wouldn't it be a stage 1 kit?
Did you have to adjust the carb? I cant get mine to run right. I've adjusted it every way possible
Yes you have to adjust the idle there’s a little black screw on the left side well it’s not to small it’s pretty big actually
What does the different jet do ?
Allows more fuel into the engine, the stock jet wouldn’t work with the exhaust, air intake, engine wouldn’t be getting enough fuel with stock jet. So it would be running super lean.
@@peytonschmidt1116 yes but only on top end
How fast does it go now?
probably only 25mph since he still has the governor spring
I am physically not strong enough to put the 18lbs springs on
It wont start or run after I installed the kit. What did I do wrong?
My keeps bogging
After a while its normal
It backfires out the carburetor
Same here. Any update?
@@chrisskates981 try adjusting your exhaust and intake valves. Make sure the rockers aren't too tight
The sparks next to the gas tank and open fuel line made me cringe. Otherwise pretty good video.
Be careful using vice grips to close the fuel line if it’s too tight it will cut right through
I only set it to a light pinch
@@JonathanCameron80085 It still does damage. just like when you take your vehicle to the garage to get a brake job, and the lazy mechanic uses vice grips on your brake lines, makes me wanna slap him.
Dude have you ever worked on anything in your life
Plenty
Mikuni's are way better..
Just taking the two nuts off you could have pulled the air filter off as one unit instead of separating it 🫡
New too bikelife check me out
