    About GM Atank: I've been Dungeon Mastering since High School (over 25 years ago), and in the summer of 2019 began actually painting the miniatures I'd been collecting for all these years (and I have just graduated past the potato level). I truly believe that everyone can do this, if they just gave it a try!
    More than just painting however, I wanted to make a CZcams channel that also focuses on the story behind the subjects to share with D&D and Mini fans alike. That is how paint to life was born!

    Cool video. I’ve only had a dragon villain once in all the years I have been a DM. I’ve used them as NPCs a couple times, but never thought about using Draconic way back then. I may use it now if my players ever meet a dragon.

    How do you know if you specking the words right if there is no one specking the language back to you? Would help if someone would put a list of words up and speck them in Dragoon so people can get a understanding of how to say it...

    • @GMAtank

      Best thing to do is write out some common phrases and just wing it from there. To actually learn 2 way language would be impressive to say the least, and not something my players would ever do :D

  • @SmittyWerbenjagermandragon

    One idea I had about how draconic is to pronounce each vowel separately like in Hawaiian so that the word for lair (duil) sounds more like do-eel rather than duel

    • @GMAtank
      @GMAtank  Před rokem +1

      That's a good way to interpret it. I imagine if there were different pronunciations it would sound like regional accents. Very cool. Main point is to speak (whatever you say) with confidence- and it's a sure thing to sound legit :D
