@@877cashnowszn It wasn't his hand that was the issue, the substance was in his glove. Ump said "the stickiest stuff I've felt on a glove.". They confiscated the glove so they will figure out what it was. If it was just rosin then the training staff will need to figure out how to keep it from getting in his glove, because you aren't allowed to use rosin on your non throwing hand.
It seems to be a rare occurrence these days with the umps actually calling a good game. I mean bottom of the 9th he called that a strike to end the inning? that shit was about 4-6 inches out of the strike zone. However, I'm not surprised. I hardly watch the game anymore because it disgusts me how bad the officiating has become and nothing is going to happen due to unions dictating everything in the game.
@@877cashnowszn America does not favor that market so it's like that in all professional sports. It's all about east coast/west coast. All those big market teams get all the attention and favoritism when "needed" to push them over the hump and get them on the big stage. Been like that for decades. I agree with you though. it sucks. To be honest, I don't see much of a difference between "professional sports" (like MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL) and WWF. Its becoming ever clear to me that in the big picture, it's somewhat scripted. Follow the money and you'll see.
@@vw8886that “no rosin on your non throwing hand” is a weird rule to me because its not like it gives you an advantage if its on your glove hand. It must just be that the MLB doesnt want any rosin in areas that umps are searching for illegal substances.
