This was my first game to go to this season. I was disappointed in the lack of energy from the crowd. I had to scream extra loud for Bregs, Yordan and Tuck bc they weren't getting any love when going to the plate. Don't care what their record is...Stros for life!!

There were three or four real defensive gems by the Astros in this game. Singleton had one, Dubon had one.... I'd like to think the 8 runs were a reward for the stellar defense. The baseballs gods are funny that way.

Singleton at 1st is a great addition. His bat is more electric than Abreau swinging at cutters all the time. Abreau was a great player, but it may be time to move on. I know he has a big contract, but Astro's need a better producing 1st baseman. Singleton is doing that for the time being. They can't afford to wait the whole season again on Abreau, like last year. Oh, and did I mention Bregman??? He has fallen off dramatically this year. Always late on pitches, and almost always popping up. Not a good look for a man in his last year of a contract.
