It's unbelievable this is like an actual town, it almost looks like walking around in Disneyland to me 😂. The excitement about the supermarket I can confirm 100%. I'm 23 years old now, and I can tell you, starting from the age of 20 you get as excited for a new grocery trip as you were as a kid going to the toy store.
That's so true! We love visiting different grocery stores. The Villages is SO clean and well manicured.

Tami, around 3min in, the shrubbery with the tall clusters of liac flowers is Agapanthos. That's a large variety typically grown for borders or seen in my beach town in the road medians :) My fav is the miniature variety which I have many of on my property bordering up to my sidewalk. ❤ Enjoying The Villages tour 😊

lol Kevin’s funny with the lizard. We have them everywhere also, like there’s always 4 or 5 around my lanai at all times, and I can definitively say they don’t jump on your face 😂 but one was oddly friendly and he climbed onto my table and right onto my hand which is very odd as they’re quite skittish

Wow looks like another fun day! I noticed the streets were wet in the first part of the video. Looks like y'all got a little rain but at least it didn't catch you while you were out in the cart.
It's too bad the chocolate shop wasn't open yet because it looked like they had an incredible variety of flavors to try. Hoping you were able to go back and get some video before the end of your trip!
It must have rained in the early morning before we got up. Never fear about the chocolate shop - we returned later in the week!

If you are going to Disney, I would stay on Disney property. You can get a Mears bus to take you from the airport to your Disney hotel. Then there are busses that pick you up and drop you off at the parks. The more affordable resorts like Pop Century are the ones we like the most. We always feel totally safe on Disney property. Kevin loves Disney because it's an "easy vacation" if you stay on property.

Winn-Dixie looked a lot like a Publix or Kroger or any regular grocery store. That's why it didn't occur to me to film inside. Looking back, I can see where people would have enjoyed that. We will answer your other questions during our final wrap-up video. We are gathering lots of questions which is great :)
Wow wow wow 🤩 they have everything Cobblestone streets 😮 This town square is like out of a lifetime movie. Every restaurant looks and sounds amazing, wow If I win the lottery or find a sugar daddy I’m retiring and moving to The Villages I would be so happy playing golf, pickleball, laying on a raft in the many pools, and tooling around in the golf cart. ⛳️ 🏊♀️
They have homes in every price range. I saw a house yesterday on realtor.com for $85,000.

So many memories my grandparents just sold there house a few years ago! I used to fly there with my daughter when she was one-3 and bring her to that town center and we would dance all night to the bands! We would take my grandparents golf cart all over. Stores Dunkin’s drive through 😂 I’d be worried there wouldn’t be enough charge left to get back we would zoom to all the community pools I really wish they didn’t sell it! They did quickly due to medical problems and didn’t think about keeping it in the family. Never go to take my newest daughter there.
They definitely could have kept it and rented it out. Buying a house in The Villages is a very safe bet.

I've always wanted to go to sprout or freshmarket, they seem like such neat markets! 20 min by car versus an hour by golf cart, I think I would have gotten an uber, xD I miss Winn-Dixie.. that was our store growing up! Great video, as always 🙂

I didn't drink anything. Unless we are going oversees or I'm just really thirsty, I stay away from all liquids so I don't have to leave my seat. I'm claustrophobic and have a fear of getting stuck in one of those tiny bathrooms. I know - I'm crazy! Ha! Ha!

Funny - the same thing with the hairspray vs mousse happened to my husband last week. He was very salty when he realized it 😂. I love Spanish moss too ❤ My mother lives in Pawleys Island & it is loaded with beautiful trees & moss. I love the lowering of the garage door…cute way to end it for the day.

Just a note: Salamanders and their other kinds are adorable lil creatures! They are harmless to humans and they eat bugs (even palmetto bugs!!! YAY!!!). They are good to and for the environment and help the ecosystem. They will not jump on your face. LOL I never bother them. I still can't believe you had to drive an hour in the cart. Great job but I would have been dead by the end. I have a hard enough time for an hour in the car, bus, or train, plane these days. hehe My cousin used to work in Sprouts when she still lived in Pinellas Park (FL). I never saw one in person! This is nice! I asked about it - it is sort of a health food store so you're right - like Whole Foods. I am not surprised if it was expensive.
There are certain things I’m not afraid of - frogs, Praying Mantis - these salamanders would be in that list too. I think they are cute.
@@TamiDunn I used to work in the Biology Dept at a university, so I was always visiting the froggies. The only ones I didn't care for, the African Hissing Cockroaches (NOPE) and the tarantulas. There was a tarantula with its baby and it was in a house, but I just kept thinking that it was going to escape. But I did say hi to it when I would go to the Greenhouse to talk to the botanist. Salamanders, however, awesome lil creatures!
I love watching non-Floridians visit Florida and Ooooh and Aaaah about all the things we 'natives' take for granted, like the trees with Spanish Moss. We really do live in paradise!

I think Sprouts is a cross between Whole Foods and the Fresh Market. I don’t go in there that often.

I’m so behind on these videos! I absolutely love them, but I have been so busy on the weekends and then work has been chaotic. I want to be able to sit down and enjoy them.
Omg! The dancing at the end. When I first moved to Texas in 1995 I was shocked by all of the little lizards everywhere. Now I don’t think I notice them anymore, which is weird!!!
