    Last October my husband and I did a lifestyle visit to The Villages. We enjoyed eating at Prima, Blue Fin, and Broken Egg Cafe. We recommend all three. Thanks for today's video of Brownwood Paddock Square. Brings back great memories of our time there.

      Oh fun! That all sounds good. We want to try some of those restaurants slaps. You will have to come back and visit again!

    I'd lived in Mount Dora a couple years before I'd even thought of going to the Villages. I only did because one of my dearest friends is in a band that plays at all the Villages squares. That began my Villages journey. I've now been to all of the squares except for Sawgrass. I've been to half the restaurants. I know the sound guys that mix at the squares. I know some of the regulars. This place is really something else.
    I see the attraction for those looking for this lifestyle.

      Oh cool! Glad you got to experience it. It is crazy how much stuff is actually out there. And all the restaurants they have! There is just a ton to see. Hopefully you will get to visit Sawgrass sometime!

    I like McAlister’s and Blue Fin. The theater was a cool place with lots of antique stuff inside

    We just started watching and enjoy your videos so much. We just bought a home in the Villages and your restaurant reviews are great! Not sure if you’ve tried Piesanos in Lake Deaton Plaza but might want to try it. We liked the pizza and the eggplant parm so far.

    We live not too far from Brownwood so we adore it! We like Blue Fin, Cody’s, Scooples, Too Jay’s, McAllister’s, Prima, Harvest, Island Poke Fin (for their Pineapple Dole Whips). For shopping Tommy Bahama (outlet prices) and the Logo store (The Village’s apparel) & Spice & Tea Shop. Lots to see & do!!

    Many people agree Brownwood Paddock Square is the best square, probably because of the bleachers.
    Yes, the view and walk around Lake Sumter Landing is to die for, but …
    Many good restaurants at Brownwood …
    My favorites: Cody’s, Prima, Harvest, Bluefin, Island Poke.
    Lots of shopping too …
    Golf Central is great.
    The new Eastport Square being built is supposed to be the best of all the squares.
    We’ll see 🤷🏼‍♂️ when it’s completed.

      It’s interesting to explore all of the squares. That makes sense about the bleachers though. We will be interested to hear more about the new square. Thanks for watching!

    Do not live there but we were there for a few days last week and when it’s hot this walking will wear you down.

      @thealtemlife  Před měsícem +1

      Yes the walking is very tough when it’s so hot! Be safe!

    Brownwood paddock Square is nice but it doesn’t compare to Lake Sumter Landing, I get about 12,000+ steps a day I walk the boardwalk at Sumter, the best scenery to see while you walk the lake Palmer legend golf course and a real quaint little town

    • @thealtemlife
      @thealtemlife  Před měsícem +1

      Love Lake Sumter! We would agree that it would be our favorite as well. That is great you get all those steps in!
