@Marc3DP What type of build plate do you use so that you can just snap the pieces off of the plate. With mine some of the 3D printed items break, because I have to scrape it off.

I hope I can get my 3d printer dialed enought to do things as precise as fidget spinner. Mine was one solid piece lol

Print moving or articulated things such as "fidget spinner" with a raft and 0.16 or 0.12 resolution
Make sure you gantry is not lose and the bed is level. It could be solid because later lines are if due to loose gantry. I made sure to dial in my printer with print in place tests and I got some really good ones after some trial and error

Thats awesome!!! That Prusa printer is really cool! ive seen them advertised here and there but they print nicely! My son loved seeing that skeleton was really cute with the face haha
gotta give you props on your tolerances!!! you ought to do a video on tuning your printer
I’ve been wanting to do the lion main one since I first saw it 5 years ago! I’m really excited to finally be able to do it!:) great vid I’ll be probably printing over half of these for sure;)

No luck again, took nearly 12 hours, everything seems fine, just won't turn 🤷♂️, must have a setting wrong, too impatient to fine tune
@@derminin I printed one overnight and my gears won't turn. Initial layers are goofy looking.

I’m on a budget regarding purchasing more filament and spares. Only necessary items are being printed at present. Practical things for work mostly. Unique designs and not something that can be used anywhere else.
I just started printing on a Mega S. Everytime I select to have it adhere to plate it makes it extremely hard the get off the plate. Do you have to use the adhere feature or no like I want to print the articulated stuff

I printed one of the hairy lions and he came out great! You might have better luck with the mane if you dip his head in hot (not boiling!!) water for 15 - 20 secs, rather than using the hairdryer

how are your prints so clean ?
I would like to get into 3d printing but it seems pretty daunting. Are you using low speed? How much time do the prints take ?
I think it's all depends on settings. I use 0.20 mm QUALITY setings on PrusaSlicer, it's rether slow speed. How much time - it's all depends on desing, some small 25 minuntes and some complicated / bigger 20 hours. From now I will put on video info about printing time 🙂

I see you got links to the models in the descriptions and that’s great but do you think you could put some sort of subtitle on the screen with how long the print takes
If you slice it on cura the program says how long the print will take
I will consider this in the next video 🙂
The 3D printed grass can now be used for “real grass” for lege of legends players so they don’t have to get of there set to go touch real grass outside

How do you print these so preside! I use a cr6se and when I print things like that it eaither turn out to be spaghetti or 1 solid brick so what do I do to make it precise?

I printed it on Prusa MK3s+ with 0.2 Quality profile settings in PrusaSlicer, so great printer + good settings profile in slicer
You’ve probably been asked this a thousand times but how do you get the Timelapse shots without the nozzle showing?
He takes a photo for every layer built instead of a Timelapse.

I have an idea. I need a 3D version of Tangram. Instead of making a square with random polygons, you make a *cube* with random *polyhedra.*
Imagine having Prusa MK3 with flex sheet for easy printout removal. This guy, give it to meeeeeeeee
Why dont you just flex the sheet to pop the parts off? Not worried about the PEI coating?
Giving me anxiety too, lol
I usually flex the sheet, but for video purposes I don't, It's easier for recording.
