It's such a shame that 14 years ago Eminem felt like he needed drugs to perform like this. But now he is 14 years sober and still killing it. A true legend. Long live the King.
Where’s the shame? Many of us struggle with addiction. He was able to crear a masterpiece even while struggling with addiction and then became sober, setting an example that it’s possible to rise above the ashes.
@@manuele.itriagom.728 Alexander means that em thought that he couldn't perform without drugs and thats a bad thing cuz drugs are bad So its a shame that he relied on somthing like drugs when he didn't really have to

I love that they're friends! Ed had a stutter when he was a child and learning Eminem's songs cured the stutter when nothing else would. And now they're friends and collaborators.
Genuinely touched by that clip where LL Cool J is singing along knowing that Em regularly cites him as being one of his biggest inspirations. What a moment that must be for him.
That is a classic case of anxious vocals. Performing sober most likely causing breathlessness when you’ve leaned on substance most of your life, part of the reason very often is to help anxiety. I sing and fully relate to that horrid breathlessness when performing, especially when I got sober, singing and rapping is a lot about breath anxiety fucks with your ability to control it and engage your voice.
Yeah it takes a lot to overcome, i had a buddy with a coke addiction. After he cleaned up he wasn't playing music the same. Talented, but struggles with keeping up.
That's not true 😂😂 It's cuz he had performed other songs before this He's been sober for 15 years And his performing peaked in 2010-2012 He had tenitus for a few years after so it got a little worse cuz he had to rap a certain way so he could hear his own voice properly In 2018 he started being more out of breath performing

Ed Sheeran and Eminem I like both there 2 of my favorite singers. If you don't like this comment then don't say anything at all. Also I am not looking for anyone to try and correct me thank you.
Wow, this is a dynamic duo. Didn’t believe that some British pop acoustic singer would collaborate with a rapper that twice as old as old, I mean, he did help him overcome his stutter, but I didn’t think he would be thankful so much that he would collaborate like this.
