  • A colourfully painted apothecary cabinet made from recycled materials. In this video I use the wood from some very large pallets, and some floor joist off-cuts found in a skip on a building site.

@@EpicUpCycling - Dearest Eric, I'm a _really_ new sub. (& an interior decorator). So, I _beg_ of you, might you _please_ consider giving, us viewers at home, a quick home tour video? Just a small peek into your ongoing journey, thus far. We know you're consistently adding new & glorious masterpieces to your collection. How do they look installed in your home? How are they to live with, such as cleaning & are they conversation starters? What piece is your personal favourite & your partners, so far? Hopefully, creating a video such as it, would be a fast video to film & edit?🤞 To be completely honest with you, this curiosity of mine, comes from the "Apothecary coffee table" video you posted in 2020. In it I've noticed, _extremely_ briefly, that you've done something interesting to your fireplace face... so what is it? Do you mind showing us some of what you've done & curious to see what else you've got going on? How have you taken these one of a kind beauty's & made them apart of your everyday life, in 2021? It's wonderfully suspenseful!😁

Every time I watch this man tear down pallets, I think he is "harvesting pallets" rather than cutting more trees. And I see you invented a tool to help tear the pallets apart. People say that the tearing the pallets up is "too much work." That is only because they did not have to do the work of cutting down the trees, getting them to the mills, making them into boards, getting them to market. Getting ahold of wood to build with is always a lot of work. It just depends on who is doing it and how much damage is occurring in the process.

This is one of the first things an upcycler needs to build to accommodate all the hoarding that comes with the job. If I built this, only one drawer would fit. Every drawer after that would have to be built to fit it's hole.

Discovered your work during our latest lockdown when I'm struggling to cope psychologically. I find your videos so calming; no commentary, no attempt to 'instruct' but a joy to observe a craftsman calmly bringing a detailed project together without fuss and bother. I did make the mistake (?) of letting my wife see your 100 drawer cabinet video and now I have an order for something similar! She accepts my tool skills aren't quite up to your standard so will settle for something simpler and I get a planer/thicknesser out of it :-)

BRAVO to the Master! Smitten on the spot with this locker! In the absence of a Master like you, I used Ikea dressers, which I placed in several tiers, and the drawers were pushed out from both sides of the structure. The base was on wheels and the structure was easily deployed. This improvised chest of drawers consisted of 36 small drawers where sewing trifles were stored. Unfortunately, due to the move, I had to part with this treasure and now, in a new place, I'm just dreaming about such an acquisition. Do you take orders? Although, probably, your things are too expensive... With sincere admiration and best wishes for health and the implementation of new projects!😍👍
