Well seeing as how The Doctor is 900-something years old at one point, and over 1000 at another, its not like the shows could ever begin to show ALL of his life, or even any significant portion of it. There are massive amounts of history that have only ever been hinted at or implied. As he told the Testimony in TUAT, his memories would shatter even them - there surely isn't enough videotape, or hard drive storage, or any other type of mere human media, that could even begin to hold the entire lifetime. And no human could ever watch it all in their lifetime.

I always did wonder why they gave Smith such a cold and
un-inviting redesign, this is definitely what I think of when it comes to Smith, the other room is just a less interesting version of Capaldi’s, which I would probably call my favorite. That moment in Deep Breath when we see the TARDIS redesign would have been so much more impactful if it went from Smith’s first one, to Capaldi’s, it would have shown how different Capaldi was going to be and justified Clara’s uneasiness about staying with him that much more, but instead we just got a recoloring, which never made sense to me.

There is a wonderful moment here, at 12:00 , when the Doctor talks about Rory and the Lonely Centurion. Implying he remembers what happened to him for all those long years. And while Amy hadn't dismissed it there's a look on her face as if she hadn't seen that was happening. In retrospect you can see how that moment hurt her and forced the child that was Amy Pond to grow up, just that little bit more. The fact that these were all done as DVD (or charity) specials is almost painful.
A lot of people won't have seen these, won't even know they exist and unless they go looking won't find them. So thank you for putting this together and keeping it out there.
I hope we get more like this in the future and it inspires fans, new and old, to go looking for bonus material like it!

Steve Moffat is my all time favorite Doctor Who writer.

To which I point you to the earlier clip when Amy explained the Tardis within a Tardis to everyone, despite not knowing what it meant and only able to explain because she had just heard herself say it. A lot of old school whovians will tell you the 4th Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith were the best duo in the entire brand, others will say the 10th and Rose, I actually think the 11th and Amy was the better combo, mainly because even though Amy became and adult between her first and second encounter with the 11th, she hadn't really grown up and still acted like a child. the 11th treated her like one until he realised that she'd outgrown it. He made her think big and showed her also, while at the same time learning himself that it's not all about the monsters under the bed. He became the father-figure she never really had and he treated her like he'd re-found his grand-daughter Susan.

How can what was once two very different tangents of time and space be consolidated into one neat little package without undoing all of time and space. Why Rory is no longer an undying Roman robot, or the fact that Amy has memories of two different lifetimes crammed together. Boiling it down to one simple truth, to buy yourself and ice cream and to cheer up. Just an ounce more of magic offered from a golden era. Moffat really did not leave any stone unturned.

Now I understand why there are people who get real sore with Clara. Amy and Rory made such a companion duo that clicked and makes sense. Clara just was wonderful and amazing and you just had to accept that.
Thanks for these shorts. Never knew they existed. More plz!

The Pond era was the best.
They honestly all seemed to like each other and the show seemed like they were on an exciting adventure. Yes there were dangers but it was adventure first.
    Lovely.

@@lillycline1414 I believe it’s a mini episode. It’s just a short episode between episodes. There’s actually quite a few mini episodes for example there’s one right before the Voyage of the Damned where the 10th Doctor meets the 5th Doctor. But I think this one is actually a combination of 4 mini episodes.

@@oliverames6171 Yes, "Space" and "Time" were broadcast as a Children In Need special. "Bad Night" and "Good Night" were part of "Night And The Doctor", which is on the DVD release of that season of the show. But the 4 episodes together have a story arc of Amy trying to ask the Doctor a question, so I thought it would be worth trying to make them a single episode. Luckily is counted as Fair Use too, because the BBC blocks all the "Night And The Doctor" parts if you try to upload them normally.
I could edit together "First Night" and "Last Night" too, I suppose, but "Up All Night" is just one part, so I can't do much with that.
If the BBC would just upload these all on their own channel, it would really simplify things.
Edit: Correction, they were a Comic Relief special, not Children In Need

I adore Doctor Who. I adored this doctor and these companions and I've forgotten just how much I loved them until watching this. Matt Smith made me love the doctor as much as I do.

That really shows how affectionate the Doctor was with Amy.
As we all do, we fear that we are only a tiny part of our lives's friends. Only part of *some* of their adventures...
He reassures her, and brings her to not only to his next, but he chooses to make it about her. Showing her a way to cope.
"Amy, you are enormous parts of my life. And you are all I ever remember".
    This is so true.
I don't remember all the days at work, yet I remember every time I was with my best friend.
    Steven Moffat is absolutely brilliant.
