To be honest, 11 is very different from 9th and 10th. He was a good friend with Churchill, you know, the one, who was at war almost all the time he was prime minister, while previous two doctors hated wars insanely much.

I remember it being said in a confidential that Karen wasn't told Matt would bite her so that her reaction would be authentic. It was funny cause Matt was so excited to do it... their off-screen relationship is so similar to their on-screen one tbh :')
Look for their appearance on nerdist bowling. Not sure of search terms to guarantee a result, but it is epic. Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill in a bowling game with some American nerds. Good stuff.

I understand they had kept that he would do that from her so they could capture her surprise and so he probably genuinely thought she might hit him. It is two brilliant actors who are also genuine friends having great fun with a great script that make this such great television.

I really do deeply appreciate the fact that they made the doctor and Amy just really good, close friends and gave her another love interest rather than making them romantically sad involved like most movies/series do
Amy had a thing for The Doctor, but she was young and her feelings were confused. She and Rory have a long arc where they become adults and grow towards each other.
I loved Kate and David, they had a great rapport with each other and there was very little romantic tension. There could have been though. So glad to see them return together.
