I love how macs cheats/ rule breaks are “he’s too disadvantaged”
Yup
Also he’s wearing a shirt
To be fair he is just dead when he gets to Aaron if he gets therr
Because I can’t actually find any rules regarding a tank top...so it looks pretty legal
He's wearing a shirt, he's a lightweight and he's underaged to legally complete.
18 is legal age to sign up
"So even his Cheating is cheating!"
that's when you know that he's not messing around with messing around
Redundant much, redundant?
hmm yes
the floor here is made out of floor
To answer what "Title Defense Mode" is
... after you defeat all of the standard matches and are crowned World Champion, there's a post-game where you can fight all of the other boxers again, but at a higher difficulty level because they've worked their way up to try to challenge you for the World Champ position. You're the one defending your title in Title Defense. (The video sort of explained this but you talked over it.)
That’s literally what I thought it was
@@theduckgoesmoo Wait till you see the ending to Mac's Last Stand.
@@theduckgoesmoo
And in Title Defense mode, the boxers have more altered movesets or straight up new gimmicks (like Glass Joe wearing headgear, King Hippo wearing a manhole cover, Bear Hugger having a squirrel helping him, etc.)
I heard title defense and my brain said tidal defense, and I wondered what the ocean has to do with a boxing game.💀
@@laurenfaulk4637 oh naw 💀
the "Please don't hurt me" part, you don't wanna mess with Mr. Sandman! In his title defense cutscene, he is blinded with rage at a Little Mac poster that he punches it, causing the building that it was on to collapse. HE DEMOLISHED A BUILDING WITH ONE PUNCH!
Steroids?
Nope, he's just cartoonishly strong
Still my point@@masterofdoots5965
Your point?
@@edmpunkfire7793 I was responding to Cyan, not you
I know I’m not the only one that noticed this
About Bald Bull attacking the referee
Bumbles: That’s a Ban
Duck: That’s a No-No
About Aran Ryan attacking the referee
Bumbles: That’s a No-No
Duck: That’s a Ban
6:54 Why does everyone get that wrong. He's just getting angry because they keep intentionally punching below the belt.
He is trying to teach them boxing and they just keep hitting him in the D on purpose. But since they are children, he can't really do anything about it, unless he wants to risk getting sued by their parents.
Throw the kids
@@theduckgoesmoo I’ll throw you to the kids.
@@theduckgoesmoo yes
Little Psychopaths?
you're smart because Kaiser's a boxing teacher ✔
Would love to see the next episode of this. It's worth the watch
Can’t wait to see Kyles reaction to the wrestling boots clip
As much fun as these videos were, Bumbles missed quite a few, including infractions for rapid punches, long hair, and other boxers' facial hair.
No fighters had long hair and only one had illegal facial hair.
If you are referring to Super Macho Man’s pony tail, tying your hair back so it’s not in your face is actually not a rule break.
He. Add a sequel and made corrections
There's Glass Joe, as his hair goes over his eye, Von Kaiser is too old as well as his mustache being too long, and other facial hair problems include Great Tiger and Soda Popinski.
@@wingedbluj1674 Glass Joe’s hair, I’ll give you. However mustaches and beards are only banned in the Olympics and used to be banned in the UK until recently. You are required to have facial hair that doesn’t keep your jaw hidden. So Von Kaiser, Soda, and at least in a gray area, Great Tiger are fine.
Thanks for givin' this one a shot! Definitely give the sequel a watch before jumpin back to TF2 stuff; a quick detour thanks to Bumble McFumbles
At the beginning that is Chess Boxing. Two fighters play chess for 2 minutes, then box for 2 minutes. They keep doing this until someone wins at chess or gets knocked out.
Ironic point about Glass Joe: while he's certainly the pushover of the group in his first game appearance (I mean the NES game he was created for) he's got one element to his shtick that makes him a good contender against a new player: he will neither attack you nor drop his guard for a while after the start of the match. Since Little Mac doesn't have the muscle to just go through his guard, that means if you button mash in an attempt to overwhelm him with punches (or haven't yet figured out the entire game is about defense and counterpunching) you'll tire yourself out too much to be able to stop him when he finally strikes.
So title defense is basically, little Mac won and became the champion, now all the people he beat are challenging him for his title, so you fight them all again but they are all tougher and have new, trickier gimmicks
10:17 to explain this if you were to go into the game files and look at the other side of the book you would see panels from the sailor moon manga.
hey Kyle, in case you're wondering what Mr.Sandman's win-loss streak is, it's 31-0. also, Donkey Kong is a guest character in Punch-out Wii, and here's a fun fact about that part: the devs wanted to have Princess Peach as the guest character, but because they were afraid that people would take offense over the player beating up a woman, they changed her to Donkey Kong. because fist-fighting an 800 lbs gorilla is much better than fist-fighting a princess who can actually fight. and in the next part of that punch-out video, he also goes over the super punch out boxers. please watch it, it'd be awesome and nice. :)
also, Bumbles' first line was "Punch Out was one of Nintendo's longest-tenured franchises..."
In his first appearance on the Super Nintendo, Soda Popinski was instead named Vodka Drunkenski. The Cold War may have been over, but Nintendo was still eager to mock Russian stereotypes. Considering current events, I have zero problems with that
Funnily enough, most cultures play off their own stereotypes, hence where stereotypes come from.
His first appearance was on the second arcade cabinet, Super Punch-Out.
@@taylorkeating6884 Right, that's my bad. For a while there every game on the SNES had "Super" in their name, so I got mixed up. Looking it up properly now, Cold War was still on when he was introduced. The arcade game was out in 1984
@@EditDeath The SNES Punch-Out game WAS called Super Punch-Out. So confusion is understandable.
@@taylorkeating6884 Leave it to Nintendo to make a timeline confusing with their titles, huh? And here I thought that was just a Zelda thing...
Also, bald bull throwing the referee out of the ring would be counted as Assault and would land him 10 years in prison
No matter how many times i watch this, that face he makes when King Hippo is revealed will always send me
not the usual type of content you react to but i recommend half life vr but the ai is self aware, it's an improv comedy series by wayneradiotv where he plays through half life with his friends but they pretend to be ai, and it doesn't require any prior knowledge of the half life series to be enjoyable
I’m trying to avoid half life spoilers
note how he asks about Title Defence because he was too busy talking over the explanation earlier to hear it. :/
Fun Facts: Piston Hondo was oruginally Piston Honda
The pirating manga joke is about the book he reads in the corner. Boundry breaks reveal that nintendo slipped in a page of the Sailor Moon manga.
Soda Popinski was Vodka Drunkinski but that changed cuz reasons( also its funny to me how the Russian is the only confirmed doper)
Princess Peach was going to appear as a guest fighter but violence is not the answer, so they put DK in the ring instead
Glass Joes record is always 1L 99L
who lost to him, we dont know
Mr Sandman may be potentially based off of Joe Fraizer cuz they both from Philly
The original Final Boss of the first punch out was Mike Tyson himself but was changed in some vers to a Mr Dream
Boxing Chess is a real sport, apparently
I vote on you continuing this with pwrt 2 cuz Super Punchout has some absolute ott rule breaks
Punching women is not okay, so they made him abuse animals instead!
I have seen a video in my recommended titled "Who did Glass Joe beat"
It was 0-99 in the original; according to the Super Punch-Out manual, Nick Bruiser, the final boss of that game, has a 99-1 record, and it says his only loss is to Glass Joe.
The first Punch-Out was the arcade cabinet back in 1984, and the final boss there was Mr. Sandman. Then later that same year, Super Punch-Out was released and Super Macho Man was the final boss. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out was released in 1987 and obviously had Mike Tyson as the final boss before his licensing deal with Nintendo expired in 1990, and the game was re-released with the final boss being Mr. Dream. In 1994, Super Punch-Out for the SNES was released and had the most boxers in a game at 16, with the final boss being Nick Bruiser. Lastly, a game simply titled Punch-Out was released for the wii in 2009, with the final boss being Mr. Sandman for the first time since the original.
No you got all mixed up with Glass Joe… we know who but what we don’t know is HOW
Duck: Nobody’s 5’11”.
I have news for you... people with that height include Taylor Swift, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and the man you instantly think of whenever Marvel is involved... *Stan Lee!*
All honesty bumbles would be good to react with and his videos are pretty good comedy wise and editing wise!
All honesty the only thing bad I can think is how much pressure he probs puts on himself for each video.
Ey! I suggested this! Feelsgoodman.
I would also like the 2nd follow-up would be great, AND the "What are they saying in Punch-Out" video is great too.
Hey! It’s here!
Real excited for part two as well, this is great!
2:39 Ah, oui oui. Those French classes did pay off
Me & you. Boxing match. Fight me.
Okay rex
He forgot donkey kong
Little Mac is weird for a first party Nintendo character in that he's even more ordinary than Mario, the Everyman of video games. He's just a short guy from the Bronx who wanted to box and show those taller than him(everyone else) not to count him out. I like the determination though so I let it slide.
Absolutely do the second one, they're both great. Real good vid as always!
Fun fact: soda popinski used to be “vodka dunkinski” and he drank vodka instead of soda
This is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.
I'd be super down to see you play this game!
Thanks for the video. I would like to see the second one.
Thank you for watching it of course
Little fact about Soda Popinski. In the original Punch Out game in 1984 he was known as Vodka Drunkenski.
"how did glass joe beat the world heavyweight champion?"
congrats! you are now a part of the millions of people trying to figure that out!
4:10 In the original, he was known as Vodka Drunkinski and Piston Hondo was Piston Honda.
Interestingly enough, in the very early eras of boxing, each side could have a second to come in and fight in place of the primary boxer. Of course this was the era where limited grabs/throws were allowed, rounds changed whenever somebody went down, and the count wasn't to 10 but to 30.
There's still some remnants of this as most boxing matches will start with a call of "Seconds out."
Can you do thé part 2 of witch punch out boxer IS thé bigest cheater
Yes, Punch-Out Wii. It was a WiiWare title, and iirc a special version was made for Club Nintendo members as well.
Thanks so much for checking out these videos dude.
Also I hope you're as hyped for the return of Helluva Boss next Saturday
would love to see the 2nd one!
2:00 that’s called chess boxing if you don’t know what that’s called, search it up
I wonder how a reaction to a video about the importance of Evo Moment 37 (the "Daigo Parry") would go. I don't know of any videos in particular but I know there's lots of them. Would anyone wanna see Kyle learn about that and if so, do you have video suggestions that explain just why it was so wild?
Another Punch out Video I really enjoy is "Game Exchange: Is Punch out Racist?" by Gaijin Goombah
Good thing I love this channel
You should totally react to the part two of this.
@2:41 Oui.
...
Someone had to say it!
After the sequel to this video, you should do the Tester Series he has done. That was a mess!
I recommend the videos from Viva La Dirt League, they make humorous videos about video game mechanics, tropes and such.
More Bumbles McFumbles videos please and maybe some joshscorcher videos please.
Let's go the champ did it!
I said it on Wraiths video I will say it again… I can’t wait to see your reaction to the clip Bumbles uses when talking about Wrestling boots… it’s something
That would be "chess boxing" which is a real thing and kinda fucking nuts.
Do I want to know?
@@theduckgoesmoo So between every round of the boxing match, they bring a chess game into the middle of the ring and play some turns of chess. They remove the table, they box again till end of round. Repeat until check mate or k.o.
MAC CAN’T EVEN DRINK TO NUMB THE PAIN IN THE UK. The legal drinking age for the UK is 18. He can in Germany. You gotta be 16 in Germany.
For the Glass Joe bit for his one win, its debated how he got that one win. There are multiple stories about it, though the two known ones are either he got it in a freak accident victory against Nick Bruiser or he probably got one on Gabby Jay, his protege. Which is funny cause Gabby Jay's one win is actually against Glass Joe.
2:29: Heffer: {laughing} You said weewee.
Well next you got to watch part 2 I guess
You’re like the bad timeline version of Jacksfilms
i kinda wanted him to show the donkey kong fight
He covers it in the sequel
Idk if this was ever brought up in another video but I just got to the part talking about great tigers head covering, it's a turban which is a religious headpiece so it's legally protected, I personally don't fully get why as that seems a little unfair but officially, it is. The jewel wouldn't be allowed as those aren't part of normal turbans
3:36 “Drinking age is 21” People who live in Canada or Europe:🗿
Title defense is the mode for after you beat the game. Every Friday it’s harder now. After that you wanna walk to Mac’s last stand where you have to beat as many boxers possible with all the title defense fighters chosen at random and donkey Kong thrown in for good measure. Oh, and you only get to lose three times until Mac retires.
Punch-Out IS a Nintendo Series.
Anyway, naturally I would like to see you react to the continuation,
However, i would also like to see you react to Top Fifteen Punch-Out Wii Boxers by The Green Scorpion:
czcams.com/video/SbO6hC1K0Xw/video.html
If you’re interested, of course?
For the record, Ryan trying the throw the fight is illegal. It runs afoul of the Ali Act that's meant to curb corruption and fight fixing. So yeah that's a no no
Fun fact that the video did not mention. In title defense you can fight donkey Kong
31 wins, 0 loses.
Ooo, if we're doing punch out, I'd strongly recommend the can you beat punch out without dodging videos.
lol that sounds fun
You should definitely react to part 2
I don’t know why he brought up age since the age range for boxing is 13 to 39 years old for amateur and no age limit at all once you become a professional. Though that’s about all I know about boxing.
Yeah, in the game title defense mode makes all the boxers Championship material so yes there harder to beat
Well, you should watch Drago's TF2 DUB Scout's punch out series.
I would love if you did a reaction to the video dissecting the animation of Punch out Wii
The Heavyweight class is unique for not having an upper weight limit. Anything over 200 pounds is heavyweight, whether you're 201 pounds, or over 400 pounds, it's all heavyweight.
Hey he didn't talk about Donkey Kong!
Yeeees I wanna see the second one and punch out got remade for the wii in 2009
Deffinetly check part 2
Part 2 when
Be sure to check out the sequel.
Glass Joe probably (don't even say I spoiled it) beat Nick Bruiser from luck. Idk ok I don't have lore for punch out.
Please do part 2
Glass Joe wn becausehis oppnent was so old it had an heart attack on the ring
Joe beat Nick because Nick let him so Joe wouldn't get depressed. After all, Nick did his best to train Joe!
Noone:
Death row inmates from baki:
Depends. Does Billy Michell play Punch-Out?
7:45 now I'm imaging the creator of this video doing finger guns while saying this
Bro I swear you are watching the exact same videos as me
You should react to part 2 of this video
he did
There's a sequel with the super punch out characters
Punch Out was remake for the Wii.
Mac is a legendary boxer that even took on Iron Mike Tyson! A legendary boxer in the games.
Drinking is 21 in the usa but is a canadian game so 18 for drinking
Wouldn’t little Mac get an infraction for head gear if the other opponent doesn’t have one
You should get better headphones, so you don’t miss the stuff you talk over!
I don’t
In a lot of videos something is explained, and you were talking over it, and later in the video, you questioned what was already explained...
Pls react to Part 2 of this.
Yep punch out is on the Wii
Dame da ne dame o dame dame yo
i beat the main game... KILL ME!!!
DO THE OTHER ONE
7:46 well his name is DISCO kid… sooo
Idk if you see this but you definitely should watch more bumble mcfumbles
I plan too
@@theduckgoesmoo thank you his Pokémon video is a masterpiece and his donkey Kong one is very very passive aggressive if you want a shorter one his newest video Gannon dwarf in smash is pretty good
