Well, that's the thing, the stereotypes of the original could be seen as racist stereotypes in a lot of ways. But there's so much effort put into the Wii version, including the characters speaking their native languages. And while they are still exaggerated stereotypes, none of them come across as truly offensive. Rather than racism, it comes across as a celebration of world culture. Each character is a personification of their race and culture, and every one of them are extremely likable. Even the ones who are supposed to be jerks.

Does anyone want this series to come back? I played through most of the Title Defender fights, (FUCK SUPER MACHO MAN) and they were really cool and put neat twists on the boxers. It'd be interesting to see how Dan faces the upgraded opponents. What do you think? This series worth a revival?

Sure, there was a reboot on the Wii, and it was really great, but come on, you also wanna see more (especially NEW) characters, and also a bit harder, because I can still beat all of them in the Wii Version, even when I played it over months ago! ^^
