As could see, some of the fusions were half assed because hundreds of thousands of sprites is a lot, but some of them were genuinely amazing
There are few YTers that concern me as much as Alpharad with a game like this in their hands.

A lot of these originally came from a fusion generator which simply applied the head, colour scheme, and small parts to a different Pokémon. Many of these however have custom sprites that actually look nice and every day a bunch of extras are added slowly.
A lot of the sprites are custom designed by artists, but the rest are generated by taking the face, hands, etc of one Pokémon and putting them on the other
To be more specific, there's something like 240,000 custom sprites (and many sprite packs that add tens of thousands more), but there's like a few MILLION combinations in total. Also, in game, when you're fusing a pokemon, it'll have their silhouette on a colored background-- Grey if the sprite is generated, green if the sprite is hand-made.

@@axl256gamesx7 Yeah, the formula for calculating the base amount of fusions would be 420 to the 420th power, which already causes a math error on most, if not all calculators, but then you also have to factor in the custom sprites, making it at the very least 420 to the 420th power multiplied by at least two.

If we have 400 non fused pokemons
Then there would be 160000 possible fusions

@@axl256gamesx7 Sorry, I just had to double check and yeah, my dumbass was overcomplicating things. my mental process was, as I said, 420 to the 420th power, which gave either Math Error or Infinity, so I had no way of checking if the equation was right. Though yeah, it would be 420 to the 2nd power.
This game was made in RPG Maker. RPG Maker lets you create your own professional RPG games from scratch without the need for coding, tons of games were made using RPG Maker.

I can say, it is fun to play. 420 mons to use for fusions, ending with 176,400 possibilities. If there isn't a custom sprite, the Auto Generated gets used. You can add your own custom sprites.
The same fusion can have multiple sprites, swapable on its dex page. If you have it in your party, or PC, you can reach it from pressing A on its summary screen.
Going through the Classic Mode (Hard), gona try Modern afterwards.

It actually felt like the first time I played the game.

And the game is based off oc fire red. But has mons from gens 1-5

They actually didn't get ai to make the customs. 100,00+ of the custom sprites are made by th3 pokemon community by hand

Generally, head takes the mons first typing, while the body takes the mons 2nd typing, if there is one. Else it takes the 1st typing.
With some exceptions.
Some mons like most normal/flying mons, always carry over the flying type. While starters, as far as I can tell, only carry their grass/fire/water type.

every fusion started out as a basic put the head on the body and color swap, but people made customs and they get added.
From what I understand, when the Pokémon evolves one half does, then the other half making its next fully fledged sprite. In the discord, they are constantly making new sprites.
Btw, adaptability makes your STAB bonus 2 instead of 1.5 so it’s basically like always being terrastalized
The ratata fusion is a rat king a real life phenomenon kinda where a fuckton of rats tails get stuck together and they are stuck and the shit and piss of rats make it harder to take apart and they starve and die

also note gym people usually keep the gym theme within their fusions and there are quests he clearly missed but they get ya some extra cash and iirc eventually an exp share
the sprites are ai generated but then they add new custom handmade sprites as alternate skins
this is how it's possible to fuse every pokemon combination

If you liked the Infinite fusions game, I would strongly recommend the Pokemon challenges playthrough of it. He did a blind Nuzlock with community sending him custom sprites for fusions and the series is pretty much golden.

It's actually really fun! You just get completely paralyzed by the amount of options available to you. I bred a full box of Eevees after I found a Ditto fusion in a trashcan... But I haven't used them for anything, really, because I can't decide what the f to fuse them with lol. The only fusion I've got is a Misdreavus/Eevee fusion and it's adorable!
My way out of the Chanuk situation ended up being stalling it for so long it struggled itself to death. My Agwak (Aggron+Marowak) was instrumental in tanking hits being steel/ground type and my Poison/Normal type Crounny (Crobat+Lopunny) managed to stall it quite well when Agwak inevitably ran low on HP and Chanuk was out of Take Downs, and that's where I am right now. Getting ready to clean out Silph Co. 😆
Depending on the settings you choose at the start, the game can also be considerably harder because trainers (and sometimes even wild pokes) have some wicked combinations and movesets sometimes.
I had a great team. It didn't matter. Sometimes trainers have one pokemon, and its more dangerous compared to whatever the base games have thrown at you.

Fusion types are Primary type of First. and Sub-type of second. so the order matters. Mono type mons are regarded and having the same primary and sub type

The base of this was just taking every pokemon and replacing its head with the head of a different pokemon, then applying the color palette of the pokemon whose head it was to the body. But then, every day, they have real artists submit their own takes on pokemon, and they replace the default face-swapped pokemon with those better designed version.
So they probably have thousands custom designs, but... that's really nothing when compared to the roughly 1 million possible fusions. Alpharad mostly just showed off the artist-drawn ones, but the majority are still just face swaps.

the porygon z fusions often look buggy or reference glitches or viruses. the porygon z gardevoir fusion is referencing the "hot singles in your area" scam site
most of the porygon z fusions use the purple and black "missing texture" pattern
Only green icons when fusing are "special artist made artwork" (only doing quotes as some of the "normal" fuse icons seem to be unique as well instead if just computer ai mashed up). Real cursed stuff comes with Miltank and some other mons both good and bad. Every month (i believe) there are new patches for more custom sprites.
When creating game file can not only randomize the encounters, but can also choose make every encounter a fused mon or even the level of randomness that would be generated- caterpies may become mew, or ratata replacing arceus. Most mons up to gen 8 (i think) are included. There is soooo much that is offered in pokemon infinite fusion.
420 mons, all gen 1 and 2 mons + gen 4 evos and Sylveon. So 251 + change there. The rest are select mons from gen 3 to 7.
Some same mon fusions have their regional/mega/scrapped beta design, form variants or unobtainable evolution as available sprites.
Exampel, Primeape + Primeape has some Anihilape sprites available from its dex page.
While Ditto + Ditto has scraped GS beta evolution based sprite.
And Giraferig + Giraferig has their GS beta design and Farigiraf sprite available in the dex.
And lastly double Lucario has the Mega sprite available.

I though the games FAQ page said there were no plans on adding in more base mons, for performance and due to them already pushing the engine to the limit.
Would also be over 580 base mons missing now, not counting variants.
@KimFareseed was only counting gens used in game so 8 and 9 i toss out and do not factor into the amount. Didnt know of them not adding more (not surprised really) base mons. I was only going off knowledge from playthtoughs to give as general. The adding bit was for sure for the custom sprites though

because you were doing your intro and didn't hear it when Alphard was explaining it, the game has over 200,000 possible combinations, a majority of them are custom made by a ton o different artist the ones that don't have custom sprites are filled in by ai generated ones

Everyone I’ve seen in CZcams play this game absolutely HATES Chanuk ( Muk + Chance) it’s amazingly annoying it seems in every way. I love the cursed fusion with miltank. Theres so many good custom sprites if its not a custom sprite fusion don’t bother AI generated look weird wanky or trash.
