I just read that Pinellas County Florida is seizing vehicles that run from them in traffic stops. You will forfeit your car.
I wonder how they can do that if there is a loan or if the vehicle was stolen.

Thanks for this video, James! It seems to be a study in patience by all parties. I felt for the Troopers who were faced with "technical difficulties", and the stress the driver must have felt not knowing what to expect. A peaceful outcome. Also---THAT SKY! You should do a ride along with a trooper.
I asked about doing a ride along with our state troopers (Texas), kinda inspired by this channel, and they said no. It's a liability issue. I'm wondering is ASP says the same because it would be interesting.

@@Isaac_132Try a smaller agency like a city or county sheriff 's office. You might be able to just sign a waiver.
@@wisdomrules8474 A guy I know is just finishing his training as a sheriff’s deputy. He told me I have to come out and do a ride along with him. I’m gonna do it and I hope, I really hope, we get a stop with a sovcit. That would be epic. 😂
@@Isaac_132 Great!! I have ridden with my local sheriff's office many times and I love it! I live in a small rural county, so there isn't much action. In fact, it was sometimes boring - except for the time the deputy was driving 120 on a code 3. 🤯. However, it was very educational and gave me a greater appreciation for who they are and what they do.

Was there a monetary fine attached with the not-wearing-a-seatbelt notification?
It is generally a $25 from the State and local authorities can attach an additional $20 fine. If not paid before going to Court and additional $25 maybe added.
A fourth offense of not wearing a seat belt (within one Callander year) could be a $225 fine and possibly suspension of Driver's license.
According to Arkansas Law Database
My husband got his only ticket from a ASP trooper for no seat beat and it was $175.
"Where are you headed to?"
Answer:
"Are you going to write me a ticket or not?"
(If no)
"I'm going to see my aunt Sally."
(If yes)
"Write me the ticket. No obligation, nor need, to engage in this petty small talk."

See what happens when you stop instead of trying to run? A warning for the speeding, ticket for not wearing a seatbelt (they DO save lives)
