North Little Rock Police Department (They initiated the Pursuit and this is their dashcam footage).
On 04/16/2024 at approx. 1436 hours, officers received a call to 4325 E. McCain (Home Depot) regarding a theft. Upon arrival, Sgt. Moore noticed the listed suspect vehicle leaving the parking lot and attempted a traffic stop (See Supplement). Contact was made with Justin Garrison (Other-Involved/Security), who advised Kenneth Wood (Offender), who pushed the listed property out of the exit doors without paying.
Mr. Garrison stated that Mr. Wood was known to him and was waiting outside to attempt a stop. Mr. Garrison reported getting the shopping cart with the items, but Mr. Wood fled to his listed vehicle. A copy of the sale receipt, photo of items, and criminal trespass form will be saved under the reports view/attachment tab.

It because of watching the ASP videos on CZcams, that I know to drive carefully through Arkansas.
The ASP is dogged and relentless and they don't play.
These idiots need to be made to pay restitution to the other drivers whose cars they damage. Insurance never pays the full amount and it takes countless hours dealing with getting the paperwork done and repairs made. Those responsible for such outrageous behavior need to be made to pay.
They should be court mandated to pay full restitution to all parties or stay in prison.
His insurance (if he has any) will not pay anything at all, since damage was due during the commission of a crime, they consider him uninsured.

The starting homedepot is almost directly across the street from a lowes. But he drove about 10 miles north to another town. that is the lowes he was pitted in front of.

Wow! That first TVI was a textbook PIT, the guy did a complete 360 and then drove away from it. I imagine the Trooper was a bit (ahem) "upset." I'm sure he was loaded for bear the second time.

That cop needs to teach the LAPD how to do a pit maneuver. LAPD just bumps the vehicle. This officer caused that truck to do a hard spin out twice….and right into the concrete barrier….sweeeet….
Some municipalities have stricter regulations on PITs.
There is a lot of limp wristed people in California and probably can't turn a steering wheel with much force
California police seem to prefer following at a respectful distance until the perp gets bored. They're perfectly happy to let someone drive around for three hours. Arkansas and Georgia police definitively end chases.
@@joanies6778 A pit is a pit…. You don ‘t have a pit regulation that says, “Pit, but not really…be gentle and just bump them…”. A pit maneuver has a desired effect and bumping a vehicle does nothing towards the desired effect. Nothing is right about a cop car pitting another car in a chase upwards of 10 times and STILL the car stays right on course and doesn’t break stride…
@@bwofficial1776 The mayors and city council members of California cities are the ones who control the police departments and prevent officers from performing PIT maneuvers. It’s not officers’ preference to conduct extended pursuits which endanger their lives as well as the public.

Thanks for this video, Lt.! The highlight of this pursuit, for me, was when the "Super Trooper" (Officer Donley?) arrived and proceeded to rush right up behind the truck and stayed there; it looked like a piece of paper would not fit between the two vehicles. Everyone be safe and be well! ❤

Holy Moly I've been in that construction zone and it's not a wide stretch of road. No room for error, super kudos to the officers for not letting anyone get hurt. That could have turned bad in a heartbeat. 💙💙

That is NOT a good thing and your so-called bell will be ringed many times. I recently watched a compilation of Officer Jacob Byrd. It was surreal. The calm, the presence, the focus, at 178 MPH+ (try to remain calm at that speed with traffic and other nonsense happening) was absolutely unbelievable. Some folks are born to do certain things. We think that many who serve with the ASP were literally born to do what they do. Born to eradicate the "black hats". Nothing against black hats, and I am not referring to "race" so-called. I wear a black hat everyday literally. I am talking about the line in the proverbial sand. Choose wisely. Also, be well or you might just go to hell. The line is blurred at this moment in time figuratively as well as literally. However, in AR, the line is clear and is presented in 8K for those who dare. Take care and be safe out there. BTW. The Byrd family has over 100 YEARS in LE in AR. This AR Trooper and gentleman was just fantastic.

They pulled him out slick as anything, just like a breech-born calf. If he had just stopped, like he knows he's supposed to, then none of that would've happened. Here's a tip: If you don't want to go involuntary Superman out of your truck window, then don't lead state troopers and local PD on a merry chase, after stealing from Home Depot. It's much more work to earn all of this than it is to avoid it.

10:50 At first glance, I thought that the black thing in the background moving away from the crashed truck, was a dog that may have been in the truck and was thrown out or jumped out. I was so concerned about that poor dog and rewatched it to make sure it was okay.
Then I saw that it was a tire that got tossed over the barrier and was rolling up the grassy slope and then back down again.

I've noticed that Arkansas is very good about getting traffic moving again, unlike many other states. I've personally been stuck for over an hour because the police just refused to open a lane. There was no debris, nothing in that lane at all, just a police car. Extremely frustrating, especially on a very hot day. Then after an hour, moved his car and let traffic finally move. Suspect had been removed from the scene 30 minutes at that point. Grrrr. But Arkansas cleans debris quickly and get traffic moving in minutes. Bravo! Definitely want to spend my tourist dollars in Arkansas. Efficient, courteous and professional, state troopers and locals alike.
