- Donald Trump became the 45th president of the United States in 2017 and never left office - if you look at the display at the White House Visitor’s Center. People have speculated on social media about why the president’s wall has not been updated to reflect that Trump left office and Joe Biden was inaugurated.

While I was at the White House Visitor Center to check to see if they sold any Trump souvenirs - watch my video on that here • Where are Trump souven... - @Penguinsix told me to check on the presidents’ wall progress.
I found the display and saw that still, 20 months later, Trump appears to still be in office. I asked the National Park Service staff at the visitor center for the reason. They explained it to me, which you can watch in my report and decide for yourself if that solves the mystery.

Hey folks- I have called and emailed the media contact for National Park Service to ask all your questions, see below. I will update as soon as I get a response.
1. What date was Pres Trump put on the board?
2. What date was Pres. Obama given an end date on the board?
3. What date was Pres. Obama put on the board?
4. What is the expected date for the board to be taken out to be updated?
I sent an email a month ago. No response.

DannyBoy I think that was an internet rumor (I fell for it myself!) but a good idea to figure out why we are all believing that it's true!

I am so thankful that POTUS Trump Awarded Rush the Presidential Medal of Freedom when he was still with us.
America started to return her greatness when POTUS Ronald Reagan was elected for 8 years.

I agree it’s an odd thing to have a major exhibit that is so hard to update every 4-8 years.

Really disappointed to see public servants that are afraid of a camera. When I worked as a public servant I would be willing to invite the camera man / woman on a ride along.
I caught this ranger off guard. I called the media relations who are trained to handle press questions. BUT They are not responding to me, so I'm going back to those rangers in the White House information booth to ask them again. The Park Service is creaing their own PR mess.
You can't really blame them, though.
I can't believe anyone that actually lives in Washington is naive enough to not know the truth of what is really going on. Pretending this whole thing is real is ridiculous in my opinion.

I find it odd that a National Park Service employee would object to being filmed. She is a government employee at a government facility that is open to the public. There is no expectation of privacy.
Regardless, I do not agree with her answer. Online friends have asked the same question. Answers range from "We are behind because of COVID" to "We have had more pressing matters".
