Nice to see the heater having no issues at altitude...the Propex heater in my trailer had issues igniting up high. I'll need to be in Bellingham this coming Monday to pick up my private ski lodge....woohoo!

Great video. The skiing looked amazing. You survived the sandwich! Ha ha ha. I don't like to cook in my Kimbo either. Got a nice Clam pop up enclosure. Its like a traveling back porch. Skeeter & rain free, but it takes up a lot of space.

With all the traveling you do with the Kimbo, are you finding any rub spots like in the heater propane door? Any movement on the bed of the truck? Any extra steps for securing cargo?

A good diesel heater tip is run kerosene for over 10k altitude works great but will use a little more fuel than on diesel but only like 5%

If you ever get by Pebble Creek Ski Area, outside of Pocatello, park at the south end of Bonneville road. There's a Sprinter there now, near my driveway, no one cares, 5 minutes from the area.

That's a sick setup. Swing arm and kimbo... I don't tacoma is designed for that kind of payload no matter what leaves/suspensions you use.

awesome man, I am going out with my camper this weekend to snowboard in Vermont. I was looking for a Kimbo last year, but ended buying the Scout Olympic. Oh, I have a question, with the heat running all night, how much propane do you use, and warm does get at night time.? I am not afraid that it will get cold at night, I am more afraid that will get too hot to sleep.

Jeez, I’m living your life or your living my life… Haha! I’ve got a Four Wheel Camper in the bed of my truck. Just completed a Montana snowboard trip. The gas station sandwich is a 50/50 at best. That’s why I always have the Kodiak Bars & ramen Cup-a-soup on board. Ha! Boil water, the chunky soup is my off grid big meal. Many times I will have some turkey or ham sliced 3/4” thick for my protein portion of meal.

This heater is all contained so it is a super dry heat already

Kimbo does not offer financing like some RV dealers do so you will have to contact them to figure out what the best method is for your situation.
Is there any chance you'll bring the Kimbo to the Overland Expo? I know you'll probably want to rock your new collab tent. I've seen the van and truck in person. I thought the van looked bigger in person. Really curious about the scale of the Kimbo.
Since all of the expos are in summer time, I’ll have my new tent on for those.
Love the Skiboarding content! How do the playmakers do in pow?
They are super wide and float great. You can even set them back with the extra mounting holes in the boards. Kinda the perfect do it all board I’ve been looking for. When I head to Tahoe in Feb I will only be bringing 2 pairs of these instead of my typical revolt / blunts / condors

This thing is rad. Only thing is I couldn't possibly rely on the gas station meal. Would take the risk of being seen or just stop at the grocery store on the way.

Dude, foldable hangers. There are a few types I've seen...everything from collapsible ones that fold on themselves to ones that create a ladder-like "structure."
My uncle camped at Sugar Bowl CA for 20 years! Arrive Friday night, be ready to ski on Saturday day! A parking spot is a parking spot, why would any operator want to stop it?
Hi talon how is your portable battery handling the cold weather?Is it dropping power?
They are all doing well. I typically never let the inside of the camper go below freezing so they can still function properly. If it dips below freezing the batteries will not be able to take a change and in some cases will not be able to output power.

Its been great. I think it should be an option offered from kimbo directly, but then again it was super easy to install.

FT was kinda bought by K2 (they have had the same designer for awhile) and I like them a lot so far but they still need to be broken in. The control feels way better because they are actually my correct size now 😆

Down, the FTs I was riding for like 6 years were a size too big.
Inside this car looks like in a tank. The same amount of space. I don't suffer from claustrophobia, but for some reason, I would have it here. Probably lack of windows or lights coming on and I can't see what's going on outside without opening the door (when I shouldn't ) :D

Have you had any water leaks in your Kimbo UNIT.... the reason I ask (used one for sale that leaked and repaired.....) just curious if you had any water leaks anywhere on your unit!!!
None thus far. That’s pretty rare with newer kimbos now
