My issue with the “agenda” is that it’s repetitive and boring and to me the characters only make people more resentment to female characters to the point where either they 1. Are burned too many times to just skip it entirely or 2. Form a stigma to any female character before giving even a chance.
Definitely both, I’ve been drowned in this stuff for years in many franchises (including the ones I liked) and now anytime I see any new story with a female lead or even side female characters I pretty much know what to expect and therefore I just look the other way and go do something else with my time.

In She-Hulk it was her vivaciousness, so the TV series is not really wrong in showing her in control of her emotions. It's just presenting it the wrong way. There are other gamma-powered characters in the comics that don't rage out when they're in their powered forms: Doc Samson, a psychiatrist who retains his normal personality and, of course, Abomination, who is just a bad guy. Even in the MCU, Bom has basically the same personality that he does in his human form, so there's no internal consistency within the MCU regarding gamma empowerment (I know, not really saying much there).
If they had a couple more braincells I'm sure they could have come up with something better. Given her actual human character traits, real problems that aren't just there for a "here's my point do you get the alagory?", given her a proper story arch with she hulk that didn't put other characters down. But really, was the show necessary at all? If you aren't going to do it properly why bother at all? There's a weird attitude about fictional works, more so in film, but as a whole too. In reality that is completely untrue - quite the opposite in fact. Women can get away with pretty much anything and not get touched by a man let alone murdered. Now there are exceptions to this for sure, but for the most part they can scream in your face, destroy your property, kick you dog or even make physical contact and walk away untouched. If a man does anything remotely similar to another man, or woman for that matter, they can very easily end up getting their ass kicked or yes...even murdered. no it is not, it is a technique any good writer know how to do. Thrawn the star wars book is a good example, any good game master inn real pen and paper RPG know how to make a smart characters in the game. you see it all over the place inn good writing. that is why they have writing classes where this should be thought. But anything the last ten years have been mostly crap coming out of Hollywood, with just a few good movies once inn a while like Tarantino movies, Ridley, Cameron, Nolan, to name the real movie makers, and of course Tom Cruise the last real movie star.

I think anyone giving a good or (in this case) a bad review after only having watched the first episode is an obsolete moron. My opinion is I did not hate it. It's still too soon to give a more elaborate opinion. What I noticed about the first episode is that it felt cramped, and that's the case with most first episode of every show in the history of television. The first episode is the intro, the trailer for what's to come. It was plain obvious they wanted to get her family connection to Bruce, how she got her hulk powers and her emotional reaction to her new self out of the way as quickly as possible, so they did all that with the first episode. The intention here is for Bruce Hulk to not be hanging around because the show is She-Hulk, not Bruce Hulk And His Hulk Female Cousin. It would also hurt Bruce Hulk future story telling marketing value if he's just hanging around as some supporting character acting like a nanny. I think the upcoming She-Hulk episodes will have a lot of surprises.

She was able to control her hulk form in the comics. In fact I don't think she changes back in the comics. Not that I'm defending this sack of shit but take that info how you will.
Usually, it's quite difficult to write a character which is smarter than the author. The trailers appear to support this. I don't think the writers are very bright.
no it is not, it is a technique any good writer know how to do. Thrawn the star wars book is a good example, any good game master inn real pen and paper RPG know how to make a smart characters in the game. you see it all over the place inn good writing. that is why they have writing classes where this should be thought.
But anything the last ten years have been mostly crap coming out of Hollywood, with just a few good movies once inn a while like Tarantino movies, Ridley, Cameron, Nolan, to name the real movie makers, and of course Tom Cruise the last real movie star.

@@mikestanmore2614 and I agree with you on the writer’s don’t seem very bright or have taken a writing class at all. But I find this everywhere now. A reason why I hardly watch movies or tv show anymore, because they have no clue on writing a world and a interesting theme to follow, a good example of this is the John wick movies that managed to grab the audience not because of the action or violence, it was the world he once lived inn and came back too, to get his vengeance. That is simple but damn good writing.

Why did the Hulk not change the moment their car flip off the hill. She-Hulk with the bullhorn can change instantly. Yet Bruce can't. Too many of such instances where she can do something under control or her will but the Bruce can't.

I think anyone giving a good or (in this case) a bad review after only having watched the first episode is an obsolete moron. My opinion is I did not hate it. It's still too soon to give a more elaborate opinion. What I noticed about the first episode is that it felt cramped, and that's the case with most first episode of every show in the history of television. The first episode is the intro, the trailer for what's to come. It was plain obvious they wanted to get her family connection to Bruce, how she got her hulk powers and her emotional reaction to her new self out of the way as quickly as possible, so they did all that with the first episode. The intention here is for Bruce Hulk to not be hanging around because the show is She-Hulk, not Bruce Hulk And His Hulk Female Cousin. It would also hurt Bruce Hulk future story telling marketing value if he's just hanging around as some supporting character acting like a nanny. I think the upcoming She-Hulk episodes will have a lot of surprises.
