Eddie wasn't even promoting Haney for the fight, Haney and his dad done the deal without Eddie similar to what Canelo was doing. Eddie was there as a fan and to support Haney, why would he be bribing refs and judges in a foreign country when he's not even his actual promoter.

He might even do his next fight with Eddie, but that fight against Ryan Eddie was NOT his promoter, never mind paying judges lol. That was somebody else's work.
After the last knock down, Haney was a deer in the headlights. The ref knew that and intentionally let him recover although dude was seein his dead ancestors. The fight should’ve been stopped immediately after the knockdown. Harvey Doc should be banned for life!

It makes no sense to have the ref do the 10 count and not the time operator for the rounds so every count is exact and you take out the human error of not starting the count at the right time or counting to fast or slow like the Tyson vs Douglas or Wilder vs Fury 1 fight

That first clip the ref did nothing wrong. He picked up the count from the time keeper. You have to be in neutral corners. Ryan wasn’t. And anytime gloves hit the canvas the ref wipes them off on his shirt.
He had some bad moments in that fight.
The count was fine, doesn't matter if he slow to pick up the count, there is a person ringside that is counting once devin hits the canvas. The shown count was at 3, then the ref turns to devin and continues the count at 4 and if you pay attention to the clock and the count that count was on time. What was bad is that the ref stopped ryan after he steps back and is allowing them to fight but then pushes ryan back giving devin a couple secs more to recover.

Harvey Dock is one of the worst referees in boxing.
Some of the best fights happen because a ref slows the count, but a lot of refereeing in that fight was absolute bullshit, including the point deduction.
Guess him turning his back to his opponent every time a punch is thrown is not cheating?

That's Eddy Hearn protecting his fighters, Anthony Joshua too with Andy Garcia.
This referee needs to be exposed. His connections to the Henley's or Eddie Hearns. He did the same thing in the Lomachenko fight. The Garcias and De La Hoya must pull him from any future fights. This is a stain in boxing. No wonder MMA is getting more popular.

The scale shows that Ryan paid 1.5 million and forfeited his claim to Haneys belts just so he could have the unfair advantage.
I AM NOT DEFENDING, OR JUSTIFYING HERE. (Just explaining the sequence @ the 1st knockdown)
Just to clarify, I’ll explain the protocols, & what a fighter is told in pre fight instructions!
“In the event of a knockdown I’ll place you in the furthest neutral corner, & you are to stay there until I instruct you to box! If you come out of that corner I will stop my count and your opponent will get more time to recover” (Ryan drifted out of the neutral corner forcing the Ref to stop his evaluation of Devin , & direct Ryan back to the neutral corner thus allowing Devin more time to clear his head) (this is standard)
Upon scoring the knockdown Ryan stood over his opponent, the Ref grabbed him & directed him to the furthest neutral corner. (That’s standard practice)
Once the Ref directed Ryan to the furthest neutral corner he then looked over to the Timekeepers table where the alternate Ref begins the 10 count immediately following a knockdown, & he picked the count up from there. (Standard practice) (this is when Ryan came out of the corner to pounce on Devin, & the Ref had to order him back)
As far as the immediate point deduction: that is solely on the discretion of the Ref. Although it’s common practice to issue a soft caution followed by a warning before a point deduction, it is NOT required. It was a clear intentional punch as the Ref was breaking them. He was within his rights to deduct the point.
That being said. I’d like to see this fight again!
In closing Harvey Dock is a hell of a Referee, & is one of the most respected in all of Boxing. 🤷🏻♂️
The ref doesn’t start the count people don’t get this, the ref focuses on the fighters and the referee on the side of the ring starts the count as soon as the fighters dropped then the ref in the ring carries on the count
