Tyson shrunk only a little bit and shocked it was only an inch since some people shrink a couple inches. I believe Tyson was 5'11 in his prime and now it says he is 5'10. Either way these heights aren't much shorter than a 6 foot guy. I myself am around 5'9/5'10 and definitely not intimidated by people that are a couple inches taller than myself. The only fighters to ever give Mike any problems were Fighters that were much taller than him. Dudes around his height he had no issue what so ever and has even gotten brutal KO's with guys in similar height range. If you haven't check out Mike's fight against Marvis Frazier. When people are near his height they stand no chance in Hell at beating him. I've also seen ignorant comments on youtube where people say MT was overrated but these people ignore the fact that Tyson was beating guys that were a lot taller and they outweighed him.
