Ive been watching ryan fight for about 5 years now… and i was wondering why so many ppl were picking against him. For me it was an easy pick to win this fight. Ppl thought i was crazy for bettin on ryan, i dont think ppl really knew how good he is really…. At least now they do.
Call ryan what you want but the kid is right about one thing… finding balance in life, not everybody is perfect but when you praise god and work hard and understand that too much of something good is bad. You’re pointed in the right direction if you ask me.

Ryan is imperfect, and far from a good role model but he is authentic and trying. And he knows Jesus, he would greatlybenefit form growing closer to Jesus in relationship but the kid has a good heart and his mindset is ever evolving. We as Christians should pray for him and not judge him. May God protect him, guide him, shape him and use his platform for good.

If you are a role model you need to be doing better. Christians are called to be role models. If you are basing your life after Jesus you should be reflecting Him. Ryan needs to do better. Last time we saw any athlete close to this, was Johnny Manziel at Texas A&M and during his short-lived NFL career after drafted by Cleveland Browns. We see how his ego played into the outcome of that situation. I will never judge Ryan's Faith. I do believe he is a Christian, or raised in the Church. However, something about his character and the energy he puts off is questionable and sketchy, in addition to being an example of a human personality that is disingenuous in overall character and intention. The Spiritual side seems to be his real side. The bragging about being a tough guy and openly
and intentionally talking about drug and alcohol consumption to the public press, is not a wise decision. I sense some insecurities deep down that seem to mess with his confidence level. Those who can get under his skin in the right way, will break him down. This guy will crash out eventually. If not from something in the fighting ring, something in his personal life will humble him. As a Christian myself, and my own interpretation of the Bible, unless he denies his ego in the ring, and reflect that in his personal life, then at some point God will work through Ryan's life to humble him completely, and it will be in a way that He leaders expects it, and a way that from that point forward, his reflection of his conduct and chatacter will reveal to the World that God has truly worked through Him. There is a difference between knowing you are highly favored by God, and intentionally bucking the system because you feel that God will protect you. God will always love Ryan, as He created Ryan, and everything, including humans, and everything else that has ceased to exist within/throughout the Earth/Universe. Ryan seems confident in his Faith, but lacks social confidence. He acts like he needs to prove to be stuck up, or better than others, as well as finding ways to prove that he is "unique, special, or better than others." That is a form of distorted thinking. God will at some point lead Ryan into a circumstance or scenario in his personal life and/or fighting career that publicly expose any/all specific weaknesses or insecurities he holds and/or carries. God will put Ryan in a position to where he will be forced "check himself before he wrecks himself". Ryan is a good fighter, but his ego will be checked at some point. God moves in mysterious ways, and he doesn't make mistakes. Therefore, God worked through me, by providing and creating such thoughts in the brain, and to then be translated from thought, to letters, numbers, and symbol typed on a screen. Those words typed on a screen combine together to form words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. Enough words, sentences, and paragraphs turn into different styles of writing, including the type called a narrative. Ryan's fighting career is a narrative that is not aligned with his Faith. He is talented and still young enough to have a long career, but at some point, God will mature him and humble him, and God will show Ryan that he is just as talented and Blessed, but more blessings will come when he stops acting out in ways that could jeopardize his career. Drinking isn't that big of a deal and his drug use is only media speculation, but to buck the system and say you are over the ways of the media air waves, will only get him jammed up if the wrong person of whom controls his income/finances hears him say stuff
like "yeah I drank the whole time, who is going to stop me?" That might work in his press conferences, but if he thinks that he will be able to use a line or phrase or quote in a scenario involving drinking and/or driving, he is highly mistaken. People that think that Faith brings invincibility to any part of their life, then those people are oblivious, or not really praising God. As a Christian, life doesn't get easier or mean you are automatically entitled to certain ways of protection. God will naturally and inevitably work all forms of entitlement, ego, and pride out of Ryan. God will replace all negative traits with a sense of positive confidence. This guy is young and has a long career left if he chooses to continue. However, to think he is entitled or better than any other human because of his money or fame, God will humble him as he does every human being from time to time.
