      @@simracinggarage3026 that is like a dream come true I’m really looking forward for that Barry 😃👍🏻 I have the fanatec V3 pedal with brake performance kit on but have had my eyes on the Ricmotech gtpro3 pedals for a long time, but live in Denmark so the price with VAT and shipping it’s pretty expensive 😖 but when I saw your video of the meca cup 1 I also got tempted to buy them instead 😄 but again those Tilton pedals looks so awesome 🤤😉 I can hardly wait for the review I know it will be another fantastic video from you and maybe the Ricmotech pedals will be a Christmas gift to myself 💪🏻😎👍🏻

    For anyone considering getting the PT Scorpion actuators in 2024, note that this kit does not come with the original Thanos AMC controller, but something else allegedly developed by PT (still identified as a Thanos4U, which is odd) that isn't SimTools compatible.
    Edit: it is actually compatible with simtools v2

    • @robertp.5671
      @robertp.5671 Před 3 měsíci

      Could you please elaborate on what the downside of this is? I'm not very familiar with this topic yet. Is it primarily the lack of SimTools compatibility? I assume there is an alternative software provided by PT Actuator instead (?) - is this one significantly inferior?

    • @JoaoCoutinho5
      @JoaoCoutinho5 Před 3 měsíci

      @@robertp.5671i've made an edit to my original comment because it turns out it's indeed simtools v2 compatible. The software that is well supported is SimRacingStudio, however it was not developed by PT afaik.

    • @JoaoCoutinho5
      @JoaoCoutinho5 Před 3 měsíci

      @@robertp.5671 in the meantime I've made a correction to my original comment because SimTools v2 is supported after all. The "official" way to run this controller is with SRS (SimRacingStudio), which isn't developed by PT. The downside of a custom controller is that you don't have the community support there is for the original Thanos controller (eg. discord, firmware updates). The only advantage is it's size, allowing the drivers+controller+cables to fit within the metal box.

Is that possible without disassembly by just doing the outer piston ? I thought you made a tear down video about the original MM's but cannot find it ... or did I imagine that ? Cheers mate 😊

    WHY are these actuator SO BIG ? I mean d-Box are SO much smaller... ok they are 6" travel but these are monster sized. May be great for longevity in commercial use, but for at home setup these are just too big. PT, time to make micro actuators like d-box
