Oops! Meant to say add trim to the windows at 3:37!
a little tip for you.....go ahead and frame out the window completely first and then after you drill your corner holes use a router with a flush trim bit to cut out the window hole! just run the bit around the frame (side, bottom, side then top last to support the cut-out until the last cut) and you will have perfect straight lines every time!
The shed looks great!! Way to go!!

At .24 in your vid, the rear window is lower than the front window. Is that for better ventilation?
On to the inside....👍
So excited! Let's do this!
I want one....or two!!
How about four!? That's how many I have in my shop... haha.
thanks for shed’ding lights on how to install windows
Thank you for this amazing comment!
DIY Huntress N/p since you are amazing!
Do the windows leak? The tar paper stapled at the top of the window seems like it would actually shed water towards the inside of the shed. I'm looking around the web right now to find the best way to flash a window installed over T1-11 siding.
No leaking! I also sealed up all of the seams in the trim that came with the windows using an outdoor caulking. So, no water enters the window at all.
5:29 Yep I almost cry every time I finish a project.... Ha ha.
hi i love this video. can you give me alist and measurements of the items used. thank you
Looks really nice!
Did you consider skylights?
Hi! Thanks so much! I actually didn't, because I store lumber in my ceiling rafters, so I wouldn't be able to benefit from the natural light anyway. Would love to see someone build their shop with some though! Such an awesome feature.
@@diyhuntress Good point! I considered a skylight in my tiny garage but ran into the same problem.
Where do I put all the crap that's in the rafters?
@@heyimamaker Hahah. Right!? That space becomes so necessary as we hoard more fun stuff!
OMG I wish I wasn't married. Sam you are Awesome!!!!
What size windows did you install?
Links to the windows I installed are on the blog post. Link in bio!
Shed looks nice, but this not a "how to."
