Thanks for putting in the time to film, edit, and publish videos like this! I know it’s a lot of work and takes you away from the shop.

Hi Sam. Great job again. Love how it is turning out. Looking forward to future videos out of it.
Hey, Dale! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to start sharing projects again!
Looks pretty easy. Thanks for sharing the process with us.
I was seriously surprised by how easy it was to do myself! Waiting for the next excuse to use spray foam again. 😂 Thanks for watching!
Nicely done! Loving your videos. You're doing great!!
Thank you so much for watching! 💕
She shed is looking awesome 👌
Clyde Balcom thank you!
Nicely done Sam! 👍🏻👊🏻

Looking great with the Insulation, thanks for the vid.
Barry (ENG)
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed!
Nice job on the insulation Sam!!
Well, you made that easy! I'm sure you'll have having the shed insulated.
Honestly, the hardest part of this project was dealing with the summer heat! Now that it’s getting cold out, I’m SO happy I insulated the walls!
Great video!
Your shed shop is so awesome!! My shop needs insulation... I may have to look into the spray stuff. 💛🖤
Thank you so much! This was such a fun project!
@@diyhuntress any time, Sam!
Just found your channel, love the short but informative videos!
Flux Thank you! So glad you’re here!
Curious how the spray foam is holding up after years. Any mold or water infiltration at all? Great job fyi...high five on all you've done.
I totally want to rip the headboard off my shop wall and do this now! Seems so easy!
DO ITTTT. It was actually kind of fun!
Looking forward to the photo-background!
YESS! So excited to share on Sunday!
excellent....thanx...
Very nice 👍
I hope mine, will look as great as yours does
It will!
Great video. Short and too the point.
Glad you enjoyed!
Thanks
Was one kit enough to spray your entire 12x12 shed? I am thinking about an 8x8 or 10x10 to convert into a walk in cooler for hanging wild game in. Great project and thanks for replying!!!
Very nice...and you look amazing in white.....😍
Ahahahaha. Modeling the latest coverall fashion from Paris.
First immediate thought was "Isn't she doing this project in the summers heat?!"
You're waaaay tougher than I am. Nice video tho! Hopefully others will explore the idea of spray foam now because of it.
UGH. I sure did - it was rough. Thank you so much! I hope so as well!
How do I remove the uncured stuff from my joists that comes out at the end when the two parts do not mix equally?
Did you notice any problems with exterior siding bowing out? Thanks
I am going to follow your steps to install insulation in my shed. I was just shock at how expensive it is to do it.
Buying the product and installing yourself is much cheaper than hiring out!
@@diyhuntress thanks to your channel I was motivated to build my first project. Wooden night stands. And they look great.
Great job Sam. You looked fantastic in your protective suit. You might be starting a fashion trend.
I think I found my calling - DIY Huntress brand coveralls for home improvement projects. 😉
why was the foam spray not suitable for the roof?
Sam thanks for the shed tips. I have a 10x16 shed and purchased your recommended items to install my first window. Once done, I want to insulate the shed; why did you choose plywood as opposed to drywall for your wall covering and what thickness was it? Thanks again.
Den Wilson Hi! Sorry I’m just seeing this! Hope you’re loving your shed! I chose plywood because it’s a lot sturdier than drywall in the sense of it getting banged around. I only used 1/4” ply for the covering because I needed thinner material since I applied the accent wall pieces. Hope this still helps!
@@diyhuntress thanks for the reply I know you're very busy BTW the window install went great and I finally decided on R-13 insulation and 3/8 chip board mostly due to cost. Also I'm using stall mats on top of the floor for added insulation. My shed is free standing and not on a foundation.
Great video! What did you end up doing for the roof? I am going crazy trying to find the best option for a shed that allows ventilation. Thanks!
Crazy enough, I’ll be tackling this in the next few weeks, so stay tuned! 🙌🏼
Hey why did you use plywood instead of drywall? Thanks a bunch
Nice job with the spray insulation !! What type of foam boards do you plan on using for the ceiling/roof? I have to insulate my shed ceiling as well so was wondering what you were planning on using. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! I actually haven't fully decided yet. But, I may choose foam board insulation. Still doing my research though. My dad uses foam board in his garage and likes it!
@@diyhuntress Did you ever insulate the ceiling? I struggling with this on my shed / hobby shop remodel right now.
When insulating the ceiling did you vent?
May I ask Why you didn’t use the spray foam on the ceiling? I’ve got an 8’x12’ shed that I’m planning to insulate and I wanted to use spray foam on walls and ceiling. Thoughts?
Yes, I'd also like to ask why not spray foam on the ceiling?
Hi, new sub here. I have a 12x16 shed that was to become my workshop/craft area but we screwed up the insulation. 1/2 is fiberglass with paper, some of it torn and the rest never got done :( We live in WI and frankly it's dang cold. I think ripping all of the old fiberglass out and just using the spray foam would be a better use of our time and money. Not sure why spray foam can't be used on ceilings? Any good fiberglass we haul out we can use on the ceiling. Then I can find an affordable option for the walls. Thank you for the series, it has been fun!
I am also curious about the ceiling question?
Why not use spray insulation on the roof, wouldn't that be better than foam?
That looks great, I plan to do this to my shipping container home.
curious, why did you think you couldn't spray foam the ceiling?
Thanks! Company didn’t recommend this particular product for ceiling use. Spoke to the team beforehand. Will be tackling ceiling insulation in a few weeks, actually!
Why didn’t the company recommend using the spray foam on the ceiling? What was their concerns?
Sam, why didnt you opt to insulate the underside of the roof and now that its winter here in the North East, how has it been to maintain warmth? Great video!.....thx Jamie
Hi! This particular spray is not recommended or meant for ceiling insulation. I’m still looking into options. Going to insulate in the spring. Wanted to get the shop up and running ASAP, and ceiling insulation felt like something I could I put off for a few months - especially since my last shop didn’t have any insulation and I made due. So far, so good on the warmth! Have a small space heater in there with me and can work in a t-shirt now even though it’s cold out! So excited! 😊
DIY Huntress cool, thanks for the quick reply and I’ll look forward to the next installment.
Why did you opt for plywood vs drywall? Do you drywall would crack over time if your shed shifts? I'm trying to make that decision now.
Plywood is just easier to hang things on! It’s also more durable. Didn’t want to worry about accidentally making a hole in drywall if I hit it with a board.
@@diyhuntress 💪🏾, thx!!!!
Do you think this spray from work well in the attic
For sure! There are a few videos and posts floating around using this product or similar for attics. 😊
Can you tell us how much did foam kit cost??
Does it off gas?
What's the R value?
Nice Job! Is this spray foam ok with wood? Someone told me that the wood can’t breathe and will rot but I’d like to know the real answer.
I actually spoke to the product development team for this project before using the spray foam and they 100% recommended this product for the shed!
Can you do a video on putting electric in
?
👍👍👍👍
Gib, you’re the man! 🙌🏼💕
Why cant you spray foam ceiling?
Did I hear you right that you didn't need the entire 600sqft worth of foam? If so, was there a lot left?
Yes! We used the rest in the basement. 😊
Did you got A Good Coling with this product??
And how big is your shed 12x16??
It definitely has helped a lot! My shed is 12x12. 😊
@@diyhuntress thanks for the fast answer mine is 10x16 and ill put a windows ac Too
Why plywood?
Harder to bust through when I hit into it. 😊
@@diyhuntress fair enough
