I love this! My upstairs bathroom has no room for a door so it opens to the outside right at the top of the stairs. I had been thinking about doing this but they are so expensive. I can totally see myself making one. You rock!!

I love this door, and thank you for showing a locking mechanism with this barn door. That was one of my biggest pet peeves. Thank you. ill be doing mine soon. Love the hardware too, different and really classy modern look.

You make it look easy. My bathroom is TINY and the door swings INTO the tiny room. I want a sliding door to free up precious inches inside. I am so impressed with your skill. Alas, I am too intimidated to try this one alone. It sure is beautiful. Congratulations.

@@diyhuntress it's one of my favorite to use if I'm staining it darker. It just looks so pretty to me. I dont get to use it often, but when I do I always fall in love with it alm over again.
I haven’t worked with dark stain and poplar yet. Gonna have to try!

Great first attempt on the roll-up chair. The polyester strapping worked great on the base and seat as it (the strapping) is applied to the outside of the curved shape. Have you considered applying the polyester strapping to the outside of the curve for the back part of the chair? Unfortunately, I'm not sure it will roll up as nicely - might be two rolls. Good luck! I hope you find a solution.
