Brent, I've been a viewer even longer than I've been a subscriber, and I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU for all the time, energy, and effort you put into the things you present. Watching you has helped me gain some confidence in my endeavors when it comes to various DIY projects and woodwork. Your perspective is refreshing, the voice you use to share it is honest, and the content you produce is all around entertaining, not to mention educational and inspirational. I've been meaning to comment for a few videos now, but the bungee-suspended painting tip pushed me to do so NOW. lol We do all chase that perfect finish, but I think you might have just helped a lot of folks get closer to exactly that. :) A similar door is on my to-do list, bondo is on my shopping list, and I'm all about the "beautiful, sexy beast! oh yea!" (I'm a fan, can you tell?) Hope all is well in your world with the fam, the little one, etc. Looks like things are really going well for you, and I know for sure that's indicative of a lot of focused work... for which you deserve every possible reward. Thanks again! (PS - love it when you and Leah team up, too!)

Just WOW Adam. This made my day! Thank you so much for sharing and your kind words. It might have taken a little while for me to find my true passion in life but luckily for ALL (haha) I did. Helping others learn how to build and create makes my life fulfilling and something I am truly lucky to be a able to do. Glad the bungee tip did it for ya. Funny thing is that I was debating on whether or not to even put that short clip in the video but that’s why it’s so important to show the details. That how we all learn together. Thanks again for your amazing support and Leah and I have big things planned for the future, I assure you :)

Is there anything to take into account if you were to finish both sides or add the chevron pattern to both sides? Wondering if adding thickness to the door by finishing both sides is going to cause it to rub against the wall or if there are spacers to be added so the door doesn’t rub against the wall when sliding it.

Great video! Friendly tip for the voice over is using an pop filter on the microphone if you arn't using one yet. ;) The pops are pretty heavy in this video.

At 13:57 you can see there's 2 round plastic pieces. These are ment to get attached on top of the door abs are suppose to be between the door and track. They get lightly screwed on at the front edge so that you can twist them. The hole isn't centered so that you can twist them to the outside of the door or directly on top of the door. When you hang the door your supposed to twist them, this is ment to prevent the door from ever getting bumped of the track. Just saying this for anyone that plans on installing their own barn door. You don't want it to ever come off accidently. It wasn't done in this video
