- Time to see what the wrecked ship has for us. Can we make a breakthrough to begin manufacturing our own components? New viewers, start with the cinematic trailer!
- Hry
This is fascinating, I've never seen anyone try to play this way.
Its not my place to tell you how to play but... I would have looked for a storage container and battery on the ship and connected the two so you would have a powered storage unit, or built one on the side of a surviving battery and and then grind down the ships for parts.
Keep up the good work.
the hired guns flying erratically remind me of an injured bird trying to fly, almost as if they were in pain and were trying to get a grip of their situation.
regardless, they held some good components
I like that description.
I am curious why you didn't completely build the light armor blocks of your tower since the big ship had so many armor blocks. It seemed the little ship kept 1-shoting you multiple times because a single bullet hit an unfinished armor block and separated the turbine or gatling gun from the rest of the tower.
Yeah you certainly have a good point. I probably should have. The tower is temporary because a base there would be too close to the enemy outpost. I was hoping it would be a lot faster to take down that blasted small ship than it was.
@@PsychoTheBear13 Ah, fair enough, I haven't played the game in quit a while so I'm not up on the current version. I'm still enjoying your series though. It's a neat concept and the game seems ripe for mods that would make this a properly supported game mode.
I’m crossing my fingers that Keen is adding NPC ships to the vanilla game in update 205, they have been hinting at something big for sure.
can you give a list of mods you use?
Yes! I displayed a list of mods in the first episode for reference, but basically it’s Sneaky Sounds and some NPC mods - Independent Contractors, Imber Corporation, Modular Encounters System, and Reavers: Terror of the Verse. The author is no longer supporting them but they still work for now. I am hopeful Keen will add a similar feature in the upcoming update 205. Crossing my fingers! (And maybe thirst and hunger?)
@@PsychoTheBear13 thanks for the list. i've looked at episodes 1-3 and the trailer but i haven't seen them. i'll look again
got it to work thanks
It’s in episode 1, maybe 2/3 - 3/4 of the way through. I probably should have listed it first thing.
@@PsychoTheBear13 LOL i was grinding down one of the random drops and right next to me a huge ship drops from the sky. Scared the crap out of me. I didn't see it at all. Next thing i know KABOOM. Im looking around and see a huge ship sticking out of the ground
Hi, is this world downloadable?
I haven’t uploaded it to the workshop but I can if you want me to! It’s just the regular solar system with the mods I listed.
Maybe set it up as a downloadable scenario, ive got quite a few and would get it.
Mods ? also the "no jet pack" makes it painfully slow, not sure building scafholdings is the thing your viewers want to watch.
Thanks for the comment! The no jet pack thing is only temporary because I started with nothing. With no extra hydrogen tanks, I have to conserve the h2 I have in my suit because the only source I have is the trading station. I have to conserve fuel to get to and from there. As soon as I can find or manufacture a personal hydrogen tank and a good way to fill it I’ll be flying as much as I can. 😆
@@PsychoTheBear13 now you got hydrogen in that big tank on the ship maybe if its not damaged.
Yea for sure. I just need to get it connected to the base to power it. And connect some kind of cockpit to let me fill my suit. Unfortunately, I still don’t have any personal tanks so I am limited to the suit capacity still.
