Last January I experienced the same problems. 1-New coin battery a- didn’t work. 2-Reset the TcU - not 3-Reload the software- not 4-Change the TcU - not 5-Change all electrical cables Nothing work 6-Change the motor!! It works! The problem, They explained that the electronic circuit board has been wet and was not working properly. For the last 3 weeks everything worked perfectly. So far. Since my ebike was under warranty, There was no charge. Water damage is to blame. The Brose was not water resistant, not even humidity resistant at any level. Specialized has to improve it to be waterproof!!! Now !! I like my ebike, but with all problems it hard to make any recommendations!!!🙈🙉
Mate if you owned one of these you’d understand they are a torx screw and not made of great quality material. It’s Kind of the whole theme for the bike itself. 🙄
Hi mate did you get to the bottom of why this happened. It happened to me the weekend just gone on my 2020 kenevo and the motor sounds knackered, it came to an abrupt stop mid way through a ride and had to turn it off to ride it back home. It also won’t push backwards like the belt/motor is jammed.
My problem was the plug it wasn't making contact and had corrosion on it after cleaning it up, it has worked good . I also use a electric contact grease around the plug seal.
I think it was from laying the bike on its side ,with the plug side down, in the back of the truck and I forgot to shut the bike off. Then maybe the plug lost contact. I haven't had any problems since changing the way I move my bike.

Pull out the power lead from within the external motor casing and dry it out with hairdryer. Check Rosenberg plug for metal swarf.
Replace the coin cell bettery in the tcu
This fault also occurs when the light is connected to the motor electronics

Mine has just this too! Hardly bloody used to be fair. Any luck sorting it? I’ve not read the rest of the comments yet.

@@ramd7540 having this issue now… changed plug, cleaned speed sensor, changed tcu battery still no joy.

The magnet sensor not seeing the magnet that what happens to me

This bike is not 2021
2019 to 2021 had this tcu. The 2022 has the mastermind tcu.
Lol I have a 2021 Levo and has this same TCU so yes it is a 2021
