This @PowerAcoustik1550 head unit was posted in an S2000 facebook group and blew up my feed overnight so I figured it was time to upgrade my OEM head unit. This is only available @Walmart

Just picked mine up today, have the Axxess ASWC-1 dash control/steering wheel control coming later this week. Your video was awesome Thank you so much! I am wondering are you ever thinking about rear camera? I am really spoiled by my other cars and want to add one to my s2k. Also the Walmart I used did not have the “Scosche” wire harness, they had “Metra” that to appears to be a match to the “Scosche” soon to see, again great video!!
i'm glad it helped- I should have gotten a sponsorship from Axxess because I see its almost sold out now😌I might do rear camera but I always have the top down so not really needed for me
@@Turks-Garage Update: I have all connections soldered and I also had to re pin my Axxess SWC Unit?? It is a mirror image of your install & my dash controls will not work!! Damn it!! I even called Axxess and talked with them no resolution, I even update firmware/software it locates my head unit “Power Acoustik cp71” as a kenwood unit?? I haven’t given up I love the dash controls, the weird thing is after install the volume climb to max level 50 when I first fire it up and will continue after I try different fixes?? I have some work to do, the power acoustik unit works fine that’s a plus! I also am installing back up camera so that will be another plus. Maybe I can mount the remote on the dash and use that wink, wink!
Nice video, I just buy one , not installed yet, why you wire the second plug of the scosche wire harness? I tough that only the small one was used, can you controll the oem cd changer with this radio? Thanks in advance
the bigger plug is for other Hondas...You don't need to worry about it. I don't think it can control the cd changer.

When you wired up the scoshe harness did it match color for color to the power acoustix colors ?
yes it did. there is one extra solid orange wire thats not needed.

Can someone please try what happens when you plug in an Android? Could I use Android Auto if I plugged a AI box into the head unit and connected with my phone to the AI box?

the radio adapter harness has a connector for both types of honda-side radio plug
Where did you install the antenna that it came with?
i didn't. i used the factory antennae connector
