    Mark. What a beauty! This is THE best ev available. It's a proper car. If those buying evs stopped to actually consider their requirements the 208e, Mini Cooper Se and Vauxhall Corsa e ( with i3 BMW) are the obvious choice! Amazing! Thank you for your excellent review. Top notch as always.

    I have to admit, it’s more easy on the eye than a lot of other EVs available. Will also be interesting to see this influence coming through in the new generation of Vauxhall/Opel EVs, as they will presumably be sharing the PSA platforms now.

    Had a drive in that e208 recently along with the electric mini and Honda e. Was hoping to get one of those as a second car as they are maybe “affordable”. Got two quotes to get the wall box installed and had an average price of around €1400!! Then with the grant it was about €800. So after the initial cost of the car,the price of the wall box and paying motor tax on a car with no emissions it does seem a lot of cash to splash out. The €800 would probably keep me going for 8-10 months or so with petrol. I could definitely tax & insure my existing car and still have some cash left over. I think I’ll be giving the whole ev thing a pass for a while. Good review as usual

    Love that car, and if I had a driveway I definitely consider it on price and its looks lovely

    From my own experience (in an Enyaq) it's driving into the wind and rain that kills the range way more than cold. You don't really get proper cold days in Ireland...you do get windy days.

    Great review as ever Nobby. It's certainly one of the better looking EVs if for no other reason it doesn't look like an EV or its not missing a grill even though I know they don't need them but one thing I will say is it does look like it sits a bit high up as the gap between the top of the wheel and the wheel arch is quite substantial and ruins the look of the car to me. It's very expensive as is usual for an EV and the range isn't great but if all you want us a city car fair enough though I wouldn't want to be travelling any sort of distance in it as a result.

    It’s a bit hard on the err, “full size” gentleman. My 182cm and found I hit my head almost every time I got in it, I had the seat as low as it would go 😩.
    Nice car though if you could fit in it.

    Put 18,000 Kim’s on mine in 12 months, very accurate review, cold weather about 200klms range, 270 in summer, great review.

      @@NobbyOnCars love it, great car, adaptive cruise is great, the GT is very well equipped. Range is the only bug bear I have but I regularly do limerick to cork and back in a day with very little issue and only need a 10 min fast charge top up this time of year.

    Great review Nobby-as always.
    It's a classy looking motor. No doubt about it. But sticking a 'GT' badge on the arse......Grand Tourer?? ....on a car with in or around 200km range give or take? 8-10 hrs charge time at the house....please.
    😂 Don't think so Peugeot. Sorry.
    Keep up the good work.

    It seems fine for a local run about but the range is just too small for a serious journey.

      @stevecade857 Před 2 lety

      When rapid chargers are a lot more available and reliable that shortish range won't be much of an issue with a 100kWh on-board charger. What kills it is if you need to do your journey at speed and you then have to balance range against time spent charging.

    200Km thats terrible :-( can't even drive to see my sister 90 miles away without faff :-( nahh 250 miles REAL range is what we all need so we can charge at home go on a trip and come home without messing around with the terrible EV charging infrastructure
