I am a Christian but I have huge issue with this series. I know of the false messiah, witches and demons. I was warned about this by God. I am glad even though we may differ on some we agree to be very cautious about this.

Im kind of torn between this. I dont like that theyre portraying Islamic concepts in movies b.c even though this one doesnt seem "serious" i see it as a door way of making it seem okay to make movies about islam. On the other hand i would like to see an adaptation of certain things about islam just for the sake of seeing it real life and also for education for the world globally (if that makes sense).

I watched first episode after reading messiah initially I started thinking they are showing messenger of Islam ( I accept Islam that’s why I just used messenger word because I don’t know the names of messengers ) but when he said I’m messenger of my father and from starting he was using Allah name then I stopped myself to watching this because I realized this series by Satan because Allah don’t have any shareek (Allah guide me as like you guided me while watching this episode ameen ) they are preparing for dajjal and its very near and they are just trying to distract Muslims brother and sister

actually, jews are waiting for a messiah (which was the ISA as but they rejected him, and said he was a false messiah) and Christians are waiting for the second coming of Christ, that's why they will follow dajjal...Allah knows best...
@Waqar Khan I'm not sure why you would think that Christians will follow the dajjal. Christians are not waiting for Christ to come and rule as a human leader on this earth. They are expecting a rapture-a catching up of the people in the air to meet Jesus when he comes. There are some who believe that he will THEN (after the rapture) come back to the earth to rule from Jerusalem on this current earth, but not every Christian believes this. It is a sect of Christians who believe that, and unfortunately they are the ones who run the Christian television networks. I do not believe that and neither do most of the pastors that I listen to online. I believe that when Jesus comes in the air and the graves are thrown open and the dead rise to meet him as well, that this current heaven and earth will be destroyed and replaced by a new one. So if I see some man who appears to be a "Messiah" I am not going to believe it, because unless Jesus comes in the clouds with thousands of angels and we are lifted off this earth to meet him and this earth is destroyed, then it's not the Messiah. Even if you dissagree with what I'm saying, the point is, no man on this earth is going to sway me or many others to think he is the second coming of Christ because we are looking for a rapture and a destruction of the earth replaced by a new one. This dajjal is not going to be able to pull that off for sure.
If I'm being honest, this whole concept that some Christians have about Jesus coming to rule on this earth in current Jerusalem has been influenced by the Jews. There was also a Bible printed in the early 1908 called "The Scofield Bible" that promoted this whole idea and it was published by a Jewish publishing house and sent out to thousands of pastors for free and this has influenced modern Christianity. It was in the commentary notes in the Bible that were written by a man named Scoffield who was not a Jew, but seems to have been influenced by their teachings on the coming Messiah, that promoted this idea that is very similar to the Jewish idea of a coming Messiah and unfortunately A lot of Christians bought into it and those Christians are usually either charismatics or Baptists. But many Christians do not believe this at all because we do not believe that is what the Bible teaches in the old or the New Testament.
I believe there will be an antichrist first, yes. So I am looking for an antichrist to come to earth, not Jesus. ANd Jesus will destroy him along with the earth and his followers.

It almost looks to me like this series is not really about the Muslim AC, but they used the name "Al-Masih" to be a mysterious title to Christians-thinking that we don't know the name of the Muslim AC. But many of us do. However, from what I see in the trailer, this appears to be a version of the Christian anti-Christ.
Many Christians believe that the antichrist will be "assyrian". They get this from a few verses in the Old Testament, but here is one particular verse they refer to:
Micah 5:5-6
This One [Jesus] will be our peace. When the ASSYRIAN invades our land, When he tramples on our citadels, Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men. There are a number of Christians who think this prophecy is yet to be fulfilled so the Antichrist will be from the region that was once Assyria. With Hollywood and religious movies, you have to remember that they love to blend different beliefs together for the sake of entertainment and to them, since most of them are atheists or in some of the mystery religions, what do they care if they get people confused? Most of them are controlled by Satan and he is the master of confusion and chaos.

@@justmommy I do understand that. But all the time we see movies who's writers think it's no problem to mix whatever they want to make a movie entertaining. I remember in the show "Colony" the the aliens appointed people on earth to oversee the colonies, but there was this religion on the earth in the show where people went to "churches" to learn about the "great day" when humans and aliens would live together in peace and and all religions would united under this new alien religion of loving the aliens and living side by side with them.
Now, personally, I think people who have had so called "alien encounters' have had encounters with demons that have manifested themselves to look like aliens. It's a long history to go into, but from the beginning nearly every ancient society spoke of these creatures that came down to earth and mated with humans to create giants. Some called them the Anunnaki and other names. The Bible seems to refer to them as "fallen angels" who's children with the humans were Nephilim and were giants.
So to me, the television show "Colony" was actually preparing people for what the show called "the Great Day" which in my opinion would only be a day when fallen angels would once again come to earth and I seem to recall hearing even a Muslim say that when the antichrist/Dajjal comes there will be angels (fallen angels) that come to earth as well. SO Colony seemed to be playing on that idea. SO as I said, Hollywood seems to merge things just for entertainment purposes. They didn't mention any antichrist, but there was a leader of the aliens and in my opinion, knowing what I know from many different ancient religions as well as Christianity, I saw that figure as a type of antichrist that would come to earth on "the great day" and bring his fallen angels with him and this show was almost psychologically preparing people for that time. The Show got cancelled after 3 or 4 seasons so the "great Day" never happened on the show.
This might sound crazy. I'm not asking you to agree. I'm just saying this is what I believe based on archaeology, ancient history, CIA reports on aliens, the Bible and other religions as well.
