To anyone claiming: "oh the 3090 is for professionals!"
No it isn't, this is a GeForce card with all the usual cost savings+feature removals vs Quadro: Significantly lower FP32 FP64 compute performance, half the Tensor Core mixed precision compute throughput, disabled support for SE-IVO(virtualization), you don't even get the fully enabled GPU like the previous Titians(that's literally what you are paying for)

Just an FYI, no, by high they did not mean everything on HIGH or max settings, the 8k sponsored videos one youtuber showed Nvidia had them turn many settings to medium and others like ray traced shadows, debris, difused lighting were set to OFF... Nvidia had to use reduced settings to get anything close to 60 fps even with running the game at 1440p and with 900% upscaling! It is not capable of native 8k gaming - keep in mind this was on a several thousand dollar top performance gaming system and a $30,000 tv...

Zero rendering tests done. This card isn’t just for gaming! Class Jensen video. Can’t wait to shit on something.

Except it very much is, as everything truly usefull for rendering and so on has been gutted on this card.
As pointed out by another guy above you.. It's even running on Geforce drivers, and is marketed as gaming card by Nvidia and AIB.
So while i agree with your sentiment, that if you can't afford it, it's not for you. Your very much mistaken on it not being a gaming card.

I think I'm missing something with this largest generational leap for a long time, at least in terms of performance (4k), looking at the top "mainstream GPUs":
    980Ti < 1080Ti = 88%
    1080Ti < 2080Ti = 35%
    2080Ti < 3080 = 31%
Just making a point from my perspective, as I'm looking for performance primarily, and price as secondary. That said, neither the 3080 or the 3090 are bad products of course, and price-wise the 3080 is indeed a champion compared to 2000 series!
Bonus: 2080Ti < 3090 = 45% -> but now this is real TITAN class right?

Annoying thing is these channels like hardwareunboxed are so focused on gaming that they kinda give “false” reviews, i think a few professional applications should he included in every test, games dont use this cards max potential, professional programs do.

Modderhoop from a certain perspective it makes even 2080ti look good. Because 2080ti offered about 30% more performance compared to 2080, while not costing twice as much. And also titans always were jokes. Fucking jokes. They simply have no right to cost that much. They do not offer something over regular gtxes, apart from more vram. Jenson at this point is simply getting into people’s pockets trying to see how much they are ready to pay for a gpu.
People bought a lot of titan X(p)s at the time for a 1200$, so he assumed they would gladly pay as much for a 2080ti. And so they did. And now he’s going to see how good 3090’s sales are gonna be.
I say that titans have no right because even entry level quadros are giving very close performance, and people who call themselves “content creators” are probably some youtubers or streamers, not the profs. Titans have no specialized drivers, nor custom chips. Not even hbm.
