Klay scoring 0 pts in an elimination game is otherworldly
@SorPerfectful that was Klays first time scoring less than 4 points in his career, playoffs and regular season included.. completely otherworldly
@@kylem6370 he went 0-10 mans is beyond washed he dry cleaned atp
last game before free agency.............. prolly cost him a cool $30 mill in the next contract!
He needa retire klay aint the same
As a 40-year fan of Warriors fans & living through dark years of 90s, a truck full of wasted drafts. The last 10 years have made it all worthwhile.
I bet.
the boston red sox have joined the chat
The dark days started the day they broke up RUN TMC, thinking they needed to go big. HUGE MISTAKE.
Yup. Run TMC was the highlight of my childhood as a Warriors fan. This is why I'm not so devastated about the impending end of this dynasty. Thankful for what the Splash Bros. etc. gave us. I'm looking forward to what is next.
Absolutely. One of the best teams/runs in the HISTORY of sports.
“For a dynasty to be truly recognized and celebrated,..it first must die”
Why is it that no one gives San Antonio and it's big Three the love they deserve as a worthy Dynasty. TD, TP and Manu have won more games, more playoff games, as a trio than anyone.
the big ol’ san antonio women do
@@joejuan5022😂😂😂😂
They never won back-to-back, that really matters to some fans. Also, for as much as they won, they were very understated. Personally, I still think they qualify as a dynasty, based on winning 3 in 5 years (99 and 14 feel more standalone), but those are the reasons some might not hold them in as high regard.
Everyone gives them the love they deserve lol…
exactly Dynasty is 3 in a row but u need at least back to back wins@jerodgraham6623
Green destroyed any hope when he punched Poole , there is no other more salient moment than that , Poole had friends in that locker room , green broke that locker room .
It was also the tone-deaf way they handled that situation. It showed Green was untouchable within the organization. I think most GM's would have seen this coming.
RIP Splash Bros. 4/16/24
Don't waste another year trying to make this work.
Win a championship. Draymond triggers KD out. Win another championship. Draymond triggers Pool out. Who is the dynasty killer?
I'll agree, Draymond is responsible for Poole's departure, but KD left after the Warriors lost to the Raptors, and I blame Kerr, the Warrior's media, his teammates, and the fans themselves. KD got pressured into playing because he was accused of being soft, and it was insinuated that he could play, he just didn't want to. The organization, and Kerr specifically, could have, and should have, publicly addressed that issue, and said that if KD was able, he'd be on the floor. I don't recall any of the team backing him up either, and it resulted in him missing an entire season, because he hadn't sufficiently recovered and shouldn't have been playing. Players shouldn't blindly trust the medical staff of any professional sports team, because too many doctors factor in the team's best interests as part of the equation, when their only concern should be the athlete's healing and health.
He may have a homosexual fettish for Steph.. he doesn’t want anyone getting close to him…
Rich is close. But the architect was jerry west not bob myers
An absolute Mastermind, Jerry West is a true basketball genius.
Damn Steve Kerr looks like this season drained his life-force out.
Decision to draft Wiseman instead of trading that 2nd pick or drafting and trade Ball was the decision that killed the dynasty.
Don’t forget Leandro Barbossa as the 6th man.
And definitely Shawn Livingston
@bundangkorea And Andre Iguodala
It's pretty simple...as it always is in sports....the rest of the league has caught up in terms of pace, volume 3s, and the number of players on a team that can shoot them well...10 years of advantages gone! AND it's okay...carry on
Not really. Klay Thompson and Wiggins did not show up. The lack of three ball was the issue, not the fact that other teams are better at it. Everyone outside of Steph and Moody were missing every shot.
They caught up to Klay and Draymond maybe, but Curry is still on another level. Curry's loyalty to his teammates will ultimately cost him a shot or 2 at a championship.
The "3 balls from everywhere" is a double-edged sword. Average FG% is about 50% in the NBA.
A team shooting nothing but 3's shoots 20 times, that's 30 points on 50% shooting.
A team shooting nothing but 2's shoots 20 times, that's 20 points on 50% shooting.
The math works, you're up 10. Its how peak Warriors were just blowing teams out at times by 20 - 30 points. You obviously need the shooters who average 40%+ to make that work (Steph and Klay both are).
The problem is, as you say... if you're getting older, don't have the legs to run screens and get open all game, and then don't have a consistent backup plan to go down low on an off night, having guys getting thrown out of games, or just don't get other guys involved to makeup points... you lose by 20.
@@xndr3 its not about last night but rather how the league has been trending the last 4-5 years...2014-2020 the Dubs made teams QUIT totally demoralized because of their pace and 3 pt shooting- even before KD...2019-2020 teams started building rosters to beat GS...
I think it’s simple as klay tearing both his acl and achilles on separate legs is what ended the dynasty. Who knows where they would’ve been without those injuries
They just got old and can't do it anymore.
Klay either retires or signs with another team. Draymond either gets traded or forced retired by warriors management. His antics costed warriors too many games this year he’s becoming a liability
I think the warriors is the team that will pay Klay the most money..
this is the year we blow this thing up. only steph and the young guys will still be here.
I think your wrong on both
@@sheldonong7648quite the opposite, he’ll take a huge discount to retire with warriors.
How can a team force retire someone u sound dub as hell they are plenty of teams that want dray
Its a pure miracle that the Warriors were as good as they were this year. Steve Kerr is an amazing coach. But Mike Brown is an amazing coach as well, and the Kings have some great chemistry. If they get back Malik Monk in the playoffs, watch out.
The kings sitting at home just like the Dubs 🤷🏻
I thought they were going to blow up the dynasty when they signed Jordan Poole to a contract extension in 2022, after it turned out not to be a sign-and-trade.
Great sir
One thing I'll say about the 2020 draft is that the Warriors didn't need another guard. The vision was to have Wiseman dominate in the post to relieve some pressure off of steph. Hindsight is always 20/20, but there was so much hype around Wiseman and we as a fanbase wanted him too. I think any team would've drafted him at No.2 if they had the chance
I understood that draft like that too but I’d not have drafted him personally. I thought it was too risky to draft a guy that we had no opportunity to see playing multiple games in college. There was no significant statistical analysis on his game in that level with only 3 games played. I was definitely cheering for him to work out in the warriors though, it’d have helped the team on another level. Like yesterday if we had him and he was everything we expected him to become for the franchise… Sabonis would not have gotten that many offensive rebounds and we’d have a real lobby threat =\
@@thiagodasilva6492 well when you put it that way..damn😭
There was plenty of guys that came out of high school in the past. Golden state had no patience to develop Wiseman. Because Steve Kerr wanted to play small ball. Everyone tend to forget that he wants to play small ball, Because if Steve Kerr and golden state wanted a big man. They would have gotten one within the last 2 to 3 years. They didn't want Wiseman to score and dominate the Post. They only wanted him to rebound. Be a rim protector and throw the ball back out to the 3 point line. So that only Steph and Klay could shoot, That's a waste of a big man.
@@Qjags2 How's Wiseman doing these last two years as a score-first big?
@@calla211 I know you're trying to be funny😅. But Detroit already had a big when Wiseman got there. And they also had a sorry, terrible coach. All you have to do is ask Phoenix. But the games that Wiseman played and started in Detroit when Duren was hurt, He mostly averaged a double-double when I watched.
It was a great run.
All the points are valid. I also see that they play differently as well. When they started their run, they led the league in assist. They ran back door plays just cutting and slashing to the basket. They stopped doing it too. Wiseman was a HUGE mistake.
Thanks
Dare I say rich, if dray and klay left would curry leave as well?
They should try and get KD again.
The league finally caught up with them where they can't just shoot 3's to save themselves anymore. Out hustled, out muscled, and Draymond's on court drama is what brought them down.
They will restructure. Steph is staying, Draymond and Chris Paul might be released. Wiggins and Klay might seek other options
This dynasty is over. Great run!
Interesting take on Wiseman but they would have had to trade up to get Edwards. Likely if they didn't draft Wiseman they would have ended up with LaMelo.
Curry, Klay, and Green have another Championship in them!! BUT not with Klay or Green as starters. I laugh when Curry and Kerr say they are committed to winning, because the last two years have proven first and foremost they are committed to each other. I really wish the Warriors had invested time in figuring out what they have in their young-guns (Kuminga and Moddy). I think both are ready to start.
Night Night Warriors
GO Nuggets!
Couple of things. Where they messed up. Drafting Wiseman was horrible. The warriors drafting wants not needs. Re-signing Green. He is getting old. Not trading Thomson. Trade everyone except Curry. Rebuild and wait until Curry say please trade me.
@pauloshma 6188 hard to say they messed up picking Wiseman cause they had so many guards already and Wiseman was a big athletic Center that was supposed to give them size, rim protection, and can spread the floor on offense while also being athletic enough in pick and roll game. He just didn’t pan out, honestly a lot of players that draft were like that, only a few players that draft are starting quality and Haliburton didn’t go until 12 and Maxey went 21.
@@kylem6370 You're not wrong. But with the 2 overall pick. They could draft down or trade for a veteran. Wiseman was at small conference.
You don’t think an athletic big was a need? 😂
@@xndr3 Yes it was. But he went to small conference at college. He wasn't at SEC or ACC. Which better competition. Just saying.
Everyone wants to put the blame on Wiseman. Being horrible no one seemed to think of what Steve Kerr did to Wiseman. Any big man they would have got wouldn't have developed under Steve Kerr because he wanted to play small ball just like TJD wouldn't have develop, but Kerr was forced into using him Because looney was terrible, most of the year and Draymond was getting wore down Trying to cover bigger guys 30 40 pounds heavier than him and he was still getting Jerked around. Sure. Wisema's not the greatest, but he still could have did more of What GS wanted him to do. We can't say just because he's in Detroit. And people think he's not doing great cause Detroit has a terrible coach, also just as Phoenix.
Lamelo should’ve been the #2 pick in the draft over Wiseman. Klay blew his Achilles out and no one knew Poole was going to be what he was.
They'll bounce back, and be in the playoff mix next year
Not a chance
4 championships is legendary, all great teams fade.
Need a big
When you say that all dynasties must be compared to Jordan's Bulls, you have done great disrespect to Bill Russell and the Celtics.
Bro bill russel played 60 years ago against a bunch of white men. Segregation was still heavy at that time…. The competition that bill played against was weak…..
And you weren’t alive to see one second of him play….
Bill played in a NBA of 8 teams total, totally different era
NBA Season still on?
So sad
Kerr kept resting them down the stretch, possibly costing last night game to be at home. Now, they can get plenty of rest.
Their core is old and has played a bunch physically taxing playoff and finals injuries. And klay came off of 2 serious injuries. Why wouldn’t you rest them?
@ninerempire3398 For a better seed. Now you can get a head start on rest. You probably win that game @ home
I"m not impressed with a team that literally buys a dynasty, when Jacob gives Steph, Klay and Draymond big bags. Other teams were successful in small markets with a sense of fiscal responsibility.
Get your facts straight. They drafted Stephen, Klay and Draymond So they had the right to pay them.
Yes, because everyone else plays for free. What a stupid thing to say.
The Warriors Dynasty ended when the front office decided to keep Draymond Green after he punched out Jordan Poole. They kicked Poole to the curb and that was a huge mistake. It was fun while it lasted though
Light the Beam 🔦🟣
They should blow it up. Curry needs to go ring chase. Its unlikely he will win more in GSW. Not making the playoffs again and again will affect his legacy.
Sabonis' black eyes, Holgrem's black eyes... it's a Gonzaga thang
When its over its over. Acceptance is all thats left now.
KD and Warriors were a good fit. Draymond ran off KD and Poole. This dynasty could of lasted a little longer with KD.
Great comment.
There is a great team in flyover country you can watch when you are through lamenting the end of GS. Go timberwolves!
If Draymond didn’t sabotage the 2nd consecutive season they might be in the playoffs right now
I said it then, they should’ve traded that #2 pick and players for another All-Star! Management thought they could have their cake and eat it too. Tried to develop young players and have aging superstar / star players competing for championships. Mismanaged the last part of Steph’s career.
Trade the #2 pick to which team, exactly? And for who, specifically?
What was available? What was on the table?
Yes I think it is over for Klay with the Warriors. In my opinion they will ask him to take a pay cut maybe Klay would, but it depends how much. Klay made 43 million this season. I think if they offer him like 35 million a year he would come back. At the same time I think someone like Magic or Spurs offer him a big deal he will take that. I would get rid of Draymond.
35 million?!!! Have you seen his play this year and last year? He is MLE at best. Lucky he isn’t vet minimum. He not only didn’t contribute a single point yesterday, he was also terrible on defense and still shot bad shots to force it just like he has all year. He actively cost this team wins numerous times with the bad and stubborn play. I wouldn’t go a penny over 10/million a year and that’s probability too much.
@@michaelchiello1946Look I agree that Klay is not worth 35 million. I am looking from Warriors point of view. I mean I can't imagine GS will offer him 10 million per year. In your opinion when Draymond got that 4 year 100 million dollar deal a few years back was he worth that deal? If I was GS I would move on from both Draymond and Klay, but that won't be easy. I know for 100 percent Paul won't be on the team next year.
@@HarrisRiaz1 draymond is fo sure a $22 mill a year player
klay is a 16 mill a year player ------- same as deangelo russell -------- add 8 mill a year for the 3 trophies he helped win as back pay
You’re not gonna bring up spurs dynasty? Cmon rich!
2 past examples.celtics held on to big 3 too long(bird era)bulls split up to early.
Fact we could have ant kills me
From heros to zeeeros
ever since dray got rid of durant and pool it has been going down hill besides 2022 when curry carried the ship while the other guys road the bus
The dynasty ended when the Bucks won the chip. That's when all serious talk of Giannis joining the Warriors died.
Draymond irresponsible actions running off KD and Poole really hurt the Warriors. Poole was being groomed to run the offense after Stef's departure.
Pretending like LeBron is an outlier when Anthony Davis is just as important to that team as anyone lmao. Warriors have not prioritized getting Steph a true #2 since KD left. Lakers did with LeBron and AD. Suns have for Booker with KD and Beal. Mavs did with Luka and Kyrie.
Steph isn’t washed, he has nowhere near the same support
In my opuon they got old . They should have back poole abd got rid of dremond green. They tried to compete for a championship with the mean core players all being 33yrs or older .
Golden state needs to rebuild before they become a lottery team
I want Warriors Trade Stephen Curry Klay Thompson to Chicago Bulls For Nikola Vucevic Zach Lavine to Warriors
2024 This Summer Offseason Move
Steve Kerr can’t get them to play top ball anymore but they still getting paid! Now Adays any low team beats them their pathetic!
Trade Green to the Pistons.
Klay Bricks move over Russell
He must’ve got his “feelings hurt.”
It’s over. Don’t waste anymore time with older aging players. Paul, Green, Thompson, Wiggins all need to go bye bye. Get something for them while you can. Why keep a 9 or 10 seed together that’s all over paid? I get loyalty, but you can’t ruin your franchise either. They helped you reach amazing highs, now they’re taking you to lows.
i am the biggest GSW fan that watches every game and i was hoping they were going to lose to break up this mess. living on past glory. Klay sticking up his 4 fingers . No one cares. Wiggs needs to go. wow terrible. Kerr not playing Moses was a joke also. where was GP2. we needed him. did he twist his ankle
They’ll form another super team … that’s the only way to win
Been waiting on this downfall since kd days
Time to tank and collect draft picks. Its over.
Oh no, they only got 4 championships.
Everything good comes to an end. The fact that the warriors got to this level is still mind bogging to me after their best teams were right before they traded Mitch Richmond. And then a massive decay from there, becoming a laughing stock of the league. They get Curry and everyone is thinking "we should trade Steph because Monta Ellis needs more help!"
I'm so blessed with the memories of the past decade for my team. One championship would have been enough honestly. The fact they were able to take those body blows, all the haters from KD joining, the fact that Steph retooled himself and did lead the team on his own, the fact that Klay could come back from those injuries, the fact they did retool... I'm still amazed and happy for my team giving those memories.
You own the Warriors?
That’s the way I look at it. When you seen a dumpster fire turn into a dynasty, how can we complain?
@@philipskwhat does the sentence you typed up have to do with what he said?
Thank god its over.
its the chris paul effect !
james harden, russell westbrook, and chris paul....... add to any mix and wait for burning smell to come from oven soon thereafter...
GSW cannot put any worthy players around Steph without trading their young core and picks. Moving Klay, Dray and Wiggs not going get worthy support acts to win. Best offer is to give Steph the option to move to any contender and acquire further assets. I see him playing for the Lakers. It was a great run!
"See him playing for the Lakers"? Nope, never going to happen.
LOL
Celtics won 11 titles in 13 years.
Russell: Jordan hold my beer.
It’s Chris Paul’s fault
CP - still raking it in, the last $300 mill? without delivering even an NBA finals appearance
The warriors run is over. Klay will leave in FA & Draymon will probably get traded
who will pay klay to suck on court for the next three years?
like what use is he to any team? ---------- is basically a no 8 player off the bench at this point
I would say 2019 was the slow decline for the Warriors and 2022 was their one last run they had in them but it felt different, not necessarily something they were able to build on. I think the loss to the Kings was the nail in the coffin, plus a potential changing of the guard considering that Sacramento is a team on the rise that’s actually forming a consistently good team now after they just had their long playoff drought.
Highly beg to differ. 2019 was just as good of a season as 2017-2018 were and possibly better, but the Warriors had some problems during the season due to injuries and the drama between Draymond and Durant. Without all of that going on, they would've easily beat the Raptors in the finals.
Have you forgotten Bill Russel has 11 championshins
Right! Back when there were like, what? SIX teams in the NBA? Ha-ha-ha-ha!
@@Unknown17 there was some good teams, LA, philadelphia, NY, all three would lovvvvve to have had a handful of rings, so winning 11 out of 13 is a great accomplishment......... there is always 4 super teams in every era, everyone else is just trash, whether it is 4-5 of them or 12-16 of them, who cares........
@@AsifKhan-hf9zy I understand your point, but I do NOT accept that it wasn't easier to win a championship with just a few teams in the league.
Theory: dramond, through Clutch sports, has been sabatoging the warriors to ensure Curry doesnt end up with more rings than LB. ( 3-1 suspension, beefs with both KD and Poole, getting himself constantly suspended) thing about it
No. Not even close.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer set of guys. Such a great team that taught an entire generation of players that if you chuck enough 3s and play dirty on defense, you can beat anybody.

Easy there tiger.
The warriors will be back to the same old warriors their franchise had always been before curry , lame and 5$ tickets
It ended after the 2022 chip Rich cmon 😂
Calling it right now: They will go down as the weakest dynasty in sports history as we look back on it years later. Shoulda lost to the spurs, then beat a cavs team that had labron minus 2 of its best players. Then lost to that Cavs team at full strength and had to add the 2ed best player in the league to win again. AND if the Celtics don’t forget how to play basketball they lose that one too.
not to mention, no inside play....... just hoicking up threes on a prayer..........
in out in out out in out out in out .............. thorw up 100s of them, and 30% fall in and suddenly you are a dynasty

Why does Brockman speak. Dude ruins the show sometimes
The fact they are called a dynasty is laughable bc they won half their rings with the help of a ring chaser.
Dynasty is measured against the Celtics btw.
And by that metric the Showtime Lakers are the greatest dynasty in the last 50 years. 9 Finals in 12 years.
KD should have stayed.
Blow it up. Trade Curry, trade Thompson and I'm sure Draymond would retire. Start over its the only time you are getting assets for them, you are getting nothing next year, maybe Curry if he stays healthy.
Either Steph joins Lebron or Lebron joins Steph next season Lakers are not getting pass the Denver nuggets in 7 games series or how about warriors front office make a coaching change it's about time Mike Brown embarrassed Steve Kerr last night but warriors gave Kerr a extension so good luck next year dub nation plus everybody knows the dynasty fell when Draymond punched Jordan Poole they chose Draymond over possible couple of more championships
Good riddance to the Warriors. They ruined basketball.
