    What a remarkable, straight to the point, and no"what did they say about this part"? Even a mechanically "tortured" person can see this video and accomplish the task at hand with confidence. Thanks for the video, without any interruptions, or ads, and no losing focus on the task at hand due to unnecessary "gimmicks" trying to persuade me. I. Will undoubtedly seek the professional instruction and guidance this site provides.Best video yet,,, of all time,,,,,, just saying! Ty

    Great job on the video. You made it easy for me to get in there and fix the bad solder joint. Without breaking my dash. It's nice to see a CZcams video without music and editing. Just right to the point the way I like it.

    thanks a lot for posting this. worked exactly the same in my 2008 to remove the plastic dash parts. I knew it was something stupid when everytime the light brake light came on a few knocks to the dash would turn it off. i was able to make some electrical tape wedges and secured to keep short out. pretty weird!

    My battery gage isn't working for some reason I don't why. I don't know if it's broken or if it's just a fuse. The needle points straight down it looks like if it's broken. Is this a do-it-yourself fix or should I take it to the dealer? Any advice would greatly help. Thanks in advance and great vid b

      Gauges themselves can fail causing erratic operation or be inoperative altogether and in some cases the driver circuits are the culprit but both are fairly common problems that we address in our repair service.

    dunno if anybody is still watching these, but hey thanks for the helpful video. my 07 has an additional cable on the bottom of the gauge cluster that I can't get disconnected. There's some kind of tab or latch I move that gets the cable to come out 1/4", but I can't get it disconnected and thus can't get the gauge cluster out. anybody else have some pics of that? thnx

      @900443980 Před 3 lety +2

      I just replaced my cluster in my 2004 new body f150 and ran into that as well. It's the gear select indicator. You have to follow the cable all the way down to the base of the gear stick where you'll find a small loop at the end of this cable. That loop goes around a little piece of metal sticking out on the gear stick. You can easily remove this loop from the gear stick and use a T-bit to remove the white plastic piece at the end. I did see a guy on the Automotive Circuit Solutions channel remove the gear selection from the cluster itself. The video is titled "How to Remove 2004-2008 Ford F-150 Gauge Cluster with Odometer Problem" from 1/22/18.
