    Hi
    Just saw your video. Wanted to know if the same technique works on glass as well?
    I wish to make a decoupage vintage bottle for my home. Please suggest how to attain the crackle on glass with mod podge

    yellow on red, red on yellow! Suddenly I'm craving McDonalds fries 🍟! Great technique Kelly, I bet this is one thing Mod Podge can do that gel medium can't. p.s. love your nails!

    Gotta love another Jersey girl showing her crackle❣LoL
    It's much easier to see on the yellow side for whatever reason. Still a great tip either way you look at it❣💜💜💜💜

    You have a tribe! HUGS! I love this and believe it or not, I have everything! I am going to make a mess in my dylusions journal today (cause that's all I find it good for) haha! I am using Canson sm. MM pads from next month on!

      Yayaya how did it come out??

    • @TerrieJohnson731
      @TerrieJohnson731 Před 7 lety

      I ended up pulling all of my new craft paints, swatching them, did the background for my current girl, did a stencil and gesso background with Apple Barrell "Wild Iris." A gorgeous color. Going to work something into that background very soon. I like to let the gesso gure naturally overnight. It's nicest to work on that way, just my preference... I am pulling my Prima Color Gremes Water Soluble oil pastels tomorrow. I ended up feeling unwell and those are nice and easy fun in my process. Thanks for asking! I bought a HUGE tup of Art basics white heavy gesso I am not sure I love. It driess very strangely, almost like it stays moist inside the paper forever...trying Liquitex next time. Perhaps I need to stir that stuff first? Thanks for asking! All turned out well and I really love that cheap paint. There are some folk Art items I am going to start grabbing too, probably a bit of a step up in paint quality?

  • @amberceceliahoffman9930

    kelly, what's the difference between mod podge and white school glue from your pov? im sure you have used both quite a lot so I was just wondering what you had to say? also ive tried this technique SO SO many different times and i keep messing it up, but I have always used school glue

    if u let acrylic paint dry in a brush it may not be ruined just soak in rubbing alcohol for a short time then wash in soap and water
